John 13:2-9
And during supperG1173, the devilG1228 having alreadyG2235 putG906 it into the heartG2588 of JudasG2455 [son] of SimonG4613, Iscariote, that he should deliverG3860 him up,
[Jesus,] knowing that the FatherG3962 had givenG1325 him all thingsG3956 into his handsG5495, and that he cameG1831 out from 1GodG2316 and was goingG5217 to 2GodG2316,
rises from supperG1173 and laysG5087 aside his garmentsG2440, and having takenG2983 a linen towelG3012 he girdedG1241 himself:
then he poursG906 waterG5204 into the washhand basin, and beganG757 to washG3538 the feetG4228 of the disciplesG3101, and to wipe them with the linen towelG3012 with which he wasG1510 girdedG1241.
He comesG2064 thereforeG3767 to SimonG4613 PeterG4074; and he saysG3004 to him, LordG2962, dost thou washG3538 my feetG4228?
JesusG2424 answeredG611 and saidG3004 to him, What I do thou dost not knowG1097 nowG1161, but thou shalt knowG1097 hereafter.
PeterG4074 saysG3004 to him, Thou shalt never washG3538 my feetG4228. JesusG2424 answeredG611 him, Unless I washG3538 thee, thou hast not partG3313 with me.
SimonG4613 PeterG4074 saysG3004 to him, LordG2962, not my feetG4228 onlyG3440, but alsoG2532 my handsG5495 and my headG2776.
