Ezekiel 8:3-16

And he stretchedH7971 forthH7971 the formH8403 of a handH3027, and tookH3947 me by a lock of my headH7218; and the SpiritH7307 liftedH5375 me up between the earthH776 and the heavensH8064, and broughtH935 me in the visionsH4759 of 1GodH430 to JerusalemH3389, to the entry of the innerH6442 gateH8179 that looketh toward the northH6828, whereH834 was the seatH4186 of the image of jealousyH7068, which provoketh to jealousyH7068.

And behold, the gloryH3519 of the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478 was there, according to the appearanceH4758 that I sawH7200 in the valleyH1237.

And he saidH559 unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, liftH5375 up now thine eyesH5869 toward the northH6828. And I liftedH5375 up mine eyesH5869 toward the northH6828, and behold, northward of the gateH8179 of the altarH4196, this image of jealousyH7068 in the entry.

And he saidH559 unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, seest thou what they do? the greatH1419 abominationsH8441 that the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 commit hereH6311, to cause [me] to goH7725 farH7368 off from my sanctuaryH4720? And yetH5750 againH5750 thou shalt seeH7200 greatH1419 abominationsH8441.

And he broughtH935 me to the entry of the courtH2691, and I lookedH7200, and behold, a holeH2356 in the wallH7023.

And he saidH559 unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, digH2864 now through the wallH7023; and I digged through the wallH7023, and behold, a doorH6607.

And he saidH559 unto me, GoH935 in, and behold the wickedH7451 abominationsH8441 that they do hereH6311.

And I wentH935 in and lookedH7200, and behold, every formH8403 of creepingH7431 thingH7431 and abominable beast, and all the idolsH1544 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, portrayed upon the wallH7023 roundH5439 about.

And there stoodH5975 before them seventyH7657 menH376 of the eldersH2205 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, and in the midstH8432 of them stoodH5975 JaazaniahH2970 the sonH1121 of ShaphanH8227, with every manH376 his censerH4730 in his handH3027; and a thick cloudH6051 of incenseH7004 wentH5927 up.

And he saidH559 unto me, Hast thou seenH7200, sonH1121 of manH376, what the eldersH2205 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 do in the dark, every oneH376 in his chambersH2315 of imagery? for they sayH559, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the landH776.

And he saidH559 unto me, YetH5750 againH5750 thou shalt seeH7200 greatH1419 abominationsH8441 which they do.

And he broughtH935 me to the entry of the gateH8179 of Jehovah's houseH1004 that was toward the northH6828; and behold, there satH3427 womenH802 weepingH1058 for Tammuz.

And he saidH559 unto me, Seest thou, sonH1121 of manH120? Thou shalt yetH5750 againH5750 seeH7200 greaterH1419 abominationsH8441 than these.

And he broughtH935 me into the innerH6442 courtH2691 of Jehovah's houseH1004, and behold, at the entry of the temple of Jehovah, between the porchH197 and the altarH4196, were about fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 menH376, with their backsH268 toward the temple of Jehovah and their facesH6440 toward the eastH6924; and they worshipped the sunH8121 toward the eastH6924.
