Ezekiel 36:16-24

And the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559,

SonH1121 of manH120, when the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 dweltH3427 in their own landH127, they defiledH2930 it by their wayH1870 and by their doings: their wayH1870 wasH1961 before me as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation.

And I pouredH8210 out my fury upon them for the bloodH1818 that they had shedH8210 upon the landH776, and because they had defiledH2930 it with their idolsH1544.

And I scatteredH2219 them among the nationsH1471, and they were dispersedH2219 through the countries: according to their wayH1870 and according to their doings I judgedH8199 them.

And whenH834 they cameH935 to the nationsH1471 whither they wentH3318, they profanedH2490 my holyH6944 nameH8034, whenH834 it was saidH559 of them, These are the peopleH5971 of Jehovah, and they are goneH3318 forthH3318 out of his landH776.

But I had pityH2550 for my holyH6944 nameH8034, which the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 had profanedH2490 among the nationsH1471 whither they wentH935.

ThereforeH3651 sayH559 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: I do not this for your sakes, O houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, but for my holyH6944 nameH8034, which ye have profanedH2490 among the nationsH1471 whither ye wentH935.

And I will hallow my greatH1419 nameH8034, which was profanedH2490 among the nationsH1471, which ye have profanedH2490 in the midstH8432 of them; and the nationsH1471 shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be hallowed in you before their eyesH5869.

And I will takeH3947 you from among the nationsH1471, and gatherH6908 you out of all the countries, and will bringH935 you into your own landH776.
