Ezekiel 34:2-16

SonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 against the shepherdsH7462 of IsraelH3478, prophesyH5012; and sayH559 unto them, unto the shepherdsH7462, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: WoeH1945 to the shepherdsH7462 of IsraelH3478 that feedH7462 themselves! Should not the shepherdsH7462 feedH7462 the flockH6629?

Ye eatH398 the fatH2459, and ye clotheH3847 you with the woolH6785; ye kill them that are fattened: [but] ye feed not the flockH6629.

The weak have ye not strengthenedH2388, nor have ye healedH7495 the sickH2470, and ye have not boundH2280 up [what was] brokenH7665, neither have ye broughtH7725 again that which was drivenH5080 awayH7725, neither have ye soughtH1245 for that which was lost; but with harshness and with rigour have ye ruled over them.

And they wereH1961 scatteredH6327 because there wasH1961 no shepherdH7462; and they becameH1961 meat to all the beasts of the fieldH7704, and wereH1961 scatteredH6327.

My sheepH6629 wandered through all the mountainsH2022, and upon every highH7311 hillH2022, and my sheepH6629 have been scatteredH6327 upon all the faceH6440 of the earthH776, and there was none that searchedH1245, or that soughtH1245 for them.

ThereforeH3651, ye shepherdsH7462, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of Jehovah:

[As] I live, saith the LordH136 Jehovah, verily because my sheepH6629 have beenH1961 a preyH957, and my sheepH6629 have beenH1961 meat to every beast of the fieldH7704, because there was no shepherdH7462, and my shepherdsH7462 searchedH1875 not for my flockH6629, but the shepherdsH7462 fed themselves, and fed not my flockH6629,

— thereforeH3651, ye shepherdsH7462, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of Jehovah.

ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Behold, I amH1961 against the shepherdsH7462; and I will requireH1875 my sheepH6629 at their handH3027, and cause them to ceaseH7673 from feeding the flockH6629: that the shepherdsH7462 may feedH7462 themselves no more; and I will deliverH5337 my sheepH6629 from their mouthH6310, that they may not beH1961 foodH402 for them.

For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Behold I, [even] I, will both searchH1875 for my sheepH6629, and tend them.

As a shepherdH7462 tendeth his flockH6629 in the dayH3117 that he is among his scatteredH6327 sheepH6629, soH3651 will I tend my sheepH6629, and will deliverH5337 them out of all placesH4725 whither they have beenH1961 scatteredH6327 in the cloudy and dark dayH3117.

And I will bringH935 them out from the peoplesH5971, and gatherH6908 them from the countries, and will bringH935 them to their own landH776; and I will feedH7462 them upon the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478 by the water-courses, and in all the habitable placesH4186 of the countryH2022.

I will feedH7462 them in a goodH2896 pastureH4829, and upon the highH4791 mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478 shall their fold beH1961: there shall they lieH7257 down in a goodH2896 fold, and in a fat pastureH4829 they shall feedH7462 upon the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478.

I will myself feedH7462 my flockH6629, and I will cause them to lieH7257 down, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.

I will seekH1245 the lost, and bringH7725 again that which was drivenH5080 awayH7725, and will bindH2280 up the brokenH7665, and will strengthenH2388 that which was sickH2470; but I will destroyH8045 the fat and the strongH2388: I will feedH7462 them with judgmentH4941.
