Ezekiel 32:1-21

And it came to pass in the twelfth yearH8141, in the twelfth monthH2320, on the first of the monthH2320, that the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559,

SonH1121 of manH120, takeH5375 up a lamentationH7015 for PharaohH6547 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714, and sayH559 unto him, Thou wast like a youngH1121 lionH3715 among the nationsH1471, and thou wast as a monster in the seasH3220; and thou didst break forthH1518 in thy riversH5104, and troubledst the watersH4325 with thy feetH7272, and fouledst their riversH5104.

ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: I will also spreadH6566 out my netH7568 over thee with an assemblage of manyH7227 peoplesH5971; and they shall bringH5927 thee up in my netH7568.

And I will leave thee upon the landH776, I will cast thee forth upon the open fieldH7704, and will cause all the fowl of the heavensH8064 to settleH7931 upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earthH776 with thee.

And I will lay thy fleshH1320 upon the mountainsH2022, and fillH4390 the valleysH1516 with the heap of thy [members];

and I will waterH8248 with thy bloodH1818 the landH776 wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountainsH2022; and the water-courses shall be fullH4390 of thee.

And when I shall put thee out, I will coverH3680 the heavensH8064, and makeH215 the starsH3556 thereof black; I will coverH3680 the sunH8121 with a cloudH6051, and the moonH3394 shall not giveH215 her lightH216.

All the bright lightsH3974 of the heavensH8064 will I makeH5414 black over thee, and bring darknessH2822 upon thy landH776, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.

And I will vex the heartH3820 of manyH7227 peoplesH5971, whenH834 I bringH935 [the news of] thy destructionH7667 among the nationsH1471, into the countries that thou hast not knownH3045.

And I will makeH8074 manyH7227 peoplesH5971 amazed at thee, and their kingsH4428 shall be horribly afraid at thee, when I brandish my swordH2719 before them; and they shall trembleH2729 at every momentH7281, each oneH376 for his lifeH5315, in the dayH3117 of thy fall.

For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: The swordH2719 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 shall comeH935 upon thee.

By the swordsH2719 of the mightyH1368 will I cause thy multitudeH1995 to fallH5307: the terrible of the nationsH1471 are they all: and they shall spoil the prideH1347 of EgyptH4714, and all the multitudeH1995 thereof shall be destroyedH8045.

And I will destroyH6 all the beasts thereof, from beside the greatH7227 watersH4325; and the footH7272 of manH120 shall not trouble them any more, nor shall the cloven hoofsH6541 of beasts trouble them.

ThenH227 will I make their watersH4325 clear, and cause their riversH5104 to run like oilH8081, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.

When I shall makeH5414 the landH776 of EgyptH4714 a desolationH8077, and the country shall be left desolateH8074 of all that was in it, when I have smitten all them that dwellH3427 therein, then shall they knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah.

It is a lamentationH7015, and [thus] they shall lament her: the daughtersH1323 of the nationsH1471 shall say it in lamenting; they shall say it in lamenting over EgyptH4714 and over all her multitudeH1995, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.

And it came to pass in the twelfth yearH8141, on the fifteenth of the monthH2320, the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559,

SonH1121 of manH120, wailH5091 for the multitudeH1995 of EgyptH4714, and cast them downH3381, her and the daughtersH1323 of the famous nationsH1471, unto the lower partsH8482 of the earthH776, with them that goH3381 down into the pitH953.

Whom dost thou surpass in beauty? GoH3381 down, and be thou laidH7901 with the uncircumcisedH6189.

They shall fallH5307 in the midstH8432 of them that are slainH2491 by the swordH2719. The swordH2719 hath been givenH5414: drawH4900 her out, and all her multitudesH1995.

The strong among the mightyH1368, with them that helpedH5826 him, shall speakH1696 to him out of the midstH8432 of SheolH7585: they are goneH3381 downH3381, they lieH7901 still, the uncircumcisedH6189, slainH2491 by the swordH2719.
