Ezekiel 20:5-8
and sayH559 unto them, ThusH3541 saith the Lord Jehovah: In the dayH3117 when I choseH977 IsraelH3478, and liftedH5375 up my handH3027 unto the seedH2233 of the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and madeH3045 myself knownH3045 unto them in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, when I liftedH5375 up my handH3027 unto them, sayingH559, I [am] Jehovah your 1GodH430,
in that dayH3117 I liftedH5375 up my handH3027 unto them, to bringH3318 them out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 into a landH776 that I had espied for them, flowingH2100 with milkH2461 and honeyH1706, which is the ornament of all landsH776;
and I saidH559 unto them, CastH7993 ye awayH7993 every manH376 the abominationsH8251 of his eyesH5869, and defileH2930 not yourselves with the idolsH1544 of EgyptH4714: I [am] Jehovah your 2GodH430.
But they rebelledH4784 against me, and wouldH14 not hearken unto me: none of them castH7993 awayH7993 the abominationsH8251 of his eyesH5869, neither did they forsakeH5800 the idolsH1544 of EgyptH4714. Then I thought to pourH8210 out my fury upon them, so as to accomplish mine angerH639 against them in the midstH8432 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714.
