Ezekiel 20:27-31
ThereforeH3651, sonH1121 of manH120, speakH1696 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: In this moreover have your fathersH1 blasphemed me, in that they have wrought unfaithfulnessH4604 against me.
WhenH834 I had broughtH935 them into the landH776 which I had liftedH5375 up my handH3027 to giveH5414 unto them, then they sawH7200 every highH7311 hillH1389 and all the thick treesH6086, and they offeredH2076 there their sacrificesH2077, and there they presented the provocation of their offeringH7133; and there they placed their sweet savour, and there poured out their drink-offerings.
And I saidH559 unto them, What is the highH1116 placeH1116 whither ye goH935? And the nameH8034 thereof is calledH7121 Bamah unto this dayH3117.
ThereforeH3651 sayH559 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Do ye defileH2930 yourselves after the manner of your fathersH1? and do ye commit fornication after their abominationsH8251?
And when ye offer your giftsH4979, making your sonsH1121 to passH5674 through the fireH784, ye defileH2930 yourselves with all your idolsH1544, even unto this dayH3117; and shall I be inquired of by you, O houseH1004 of IsraelH3478? [As] I live, saith the LordH136 Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.
