Ezekiel 2
Revised Version 1895
1And he saidH559 unto meH413, SonH1121 of manH120, standH5975 uponH5921 thy feetH7272, and I will speakH1696 with thee. 2And the spiritH7307 enteredH935 intoH413 meH413 when he spake unto meH413, and setH5975 meH413 uponH5921 my feetH7272; and I heardH8085 him that spake unto meH413. 3And he saidH559 unto meH413, SonH1121 of manH120, I sendH7971 thee to the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, to nationsH1471 that are rebelliousH4775, whichH834 have rebelledH4775 againstH413 meH413: they and their fathersH1 have transgressedH6586 againstH413 meH413, evenH5704 unto this veryH6106 dayH3117. 4And the childrenH1121 are impudent and stiffhearted; I doH589 sendH7971 thee unto them: and thou shalt sayH559 unto them, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 GODH136. 5And they, whetherH518 they will hearH8085, or whetherH518 they will forbear, (for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004,) yet shall knowH3045 that there hath been a prophetH5030 among them. 6And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, be notH408 afraidH3372 of them, neitherH408 be afraidH3372 of their wordsH1697, thoughH3588 briersH5621 and thornsH5544 be with thee, and thou dost dwellH3427 among scorpionsH6137: be notH408 afraidH3372 of their wordsH1697, norH408 be dismayedH2865 at their looks, thoughH3588 they be a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. 7And thou shalt speakH1696 my wordsH1697 unto them, whetherH518 they will hearH8085, or whetherH518 they will forbear: for they are most rebelliousH4805. 8But thou, sonH1121 of manH120, hearH8085 whatH834 I sayH1696 unto thee; be notH408 thou rebelliousH4805 like that rebelliousH4805 houseH1004: openH6475 thy mouthH6310, and eatH398 that I giveH5414 thee. 9And when I lookedH7200, beholdH2009, an handH3027 was putH7971 forthH7971 unto meH413; and, loH2009, a roll of a bookH5612 was therein; 10And he spreadH6566 it beforeH6440 meH413; and it was writtenH3789 withinH413 and without: and there was writtenH3789 therein lamentationsH7015, and mourningH1899, and woeH1958.
