Ezekiel 18:14-18
But lo, if he have begotten a sonH1121 that seeth all his father's sinsH2403 which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like:
— he hath not eatenH398 upon the mountainsH2022, nor liftedH5375 up his eyesH5869 to the idolsH1544 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478; he hath not defiledH2930 his neighbour's wifeH802,
and hath not oppressed any, nor withholden the pledgeH2258, neither hath exercised robberyH1500; he hath givenH5414 his breadH3899 to the hungryH7457, and coveredH3680 the nakedH5903 with a garmentH899;
he hath withdrawn his handH3027 from the poorH6041, hath not receivedH3947 usury nor increase, hath executed my judgmentsH4941, [and] walkedH1980 in my statutesH2708: he shall not dieH4191 for the iniquityH5771 of his fatherH1, he shall certainlyH4191 liveH2421.
As for his fatherH1, because he practised oppressionH6233, exercised robbery upon his brotherH251, and did what was not goodH2896 among his peopleH5971, behold, he shall dieH4191 in his iniquityH5771.
