Ezekiel 12:3-16
And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, prepare thee a captive's baggage, and goH1540 captive by dayH3119 in their sight; and thou shalt goH1540 captive from thy placeH4725 to another placeH4725 in their sight. It may be they will considerH7200, though they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004.
And bringH3318 forthH3318 thy baggage by dayH3119 in their sight, as a captive's baggage, and thou thyself, goH3318 forthH3318 at even in their sight as they that goH3318 forthH3318 into captivity.
DigH2864 thou through the wallH7023 in their sight, and carry out thereby.
In their sight shalt thou bearH5375 [it] upon [thy] shoulderH3802, and carryH5375 it forthH3318 in the dark; thou shalt coverH3680 thy faceH6440, and thou shalt not seeH7200 the groundH776: for I have appointed thee for a signH4159 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478.
And I did soH3651 as I was commandedH6680: I broughtH3318 forthH3318 my baggage by dayH3119, as a captive's baggage, and in the even I digged through the wallH7023 with my handH3027; I broughtH3318 it forthH3318 in the dark, [and] boreH5375 it upon [my] shoulderH3802, in their sight.
And in the morningH1242 the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559,
SonH1121 of manH120, hath not the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, the rebelliousH4805 houseH1004, saidH559 unto thee, What doest thou?
SayH559 unto them, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: This burdenH4853 [concerneth] the princeH5387 in JerusalemH3389, and all the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 that are among them.
SayH559, I am your signH4159: as I have done, soH3651 shall it be done unto them: they shall go into exileH1473, into captivityH7628.
And the princeH5387 that is among them shall bearH5375 upon [his] shoulderH3802 in the dark, and shall goH3318 forthH3318; they shall digH2864 through the wallH7023 to carryH5375 out thereby; he shall coverH3680 his faceH6440, that he seeH7200 not the landH776 with [his] eyesH5869.
And I will spreadH6566 my netH7568 upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bringH935 him to BabylonH894 to the landH776 of the ChaldeansH3778; but he shall not seeH7200 it, and there shall he dieH4191.
And I will scatterH2219 toward every windH7307 all that are about him to helpH5828 him, and all his troopsH102; and I will draw out the swordH2719 after them.
And they shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah when I shall scatterH2219 them among the nationsH1471 and disperseH2219 them through the countries.
But I will leaveH3498 a few menH376 of them from the swordH2719, from the famineH7458, and from the pestilenceH1698; that they may declare all their abominationsH8441 among the nationsH1471 whither they shall comeH935; and they shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah.
