Deuteronomy 7:16-26
16And thou shalt consumeH398 all the peoplesH5971 that Jehovah thy 1GodH430 will giveH5414 up unto thee; thine eyeH5869 shall not spare them, and thou shalt not serveH5647 their 2godsH430; for that would be a snareH4170 unto thee. 17If thou shouldest sayH559 in thy heartH3824, These nationsH1471 are greaterH7227 than I; howH349 can I dispossessH3423 them? 18fearH3372 them not; rememberH2142 well what Jehovah thy 3GodH430 did unto PharaohH6547, and unto all the Egyptians; 19the greatH1419 trials which thine eyesH5869 sawH7200, and the signsH226, and the wondersH4159, and the powerful handH3027, and the stretched-outH5186 armH2220, whereby Jehovah thy 4GodH430 broughtH3318 thee out: soH3651 will Jehovah thy 5GodH430 do unto all the peoplesH5971 whom thou fearest. 20Moreover, Jehovah thy 6GodH430 will sendH7971 the hornetH6880 among them, until they that are leftH7604, and they that hideH5641 themselves from thee, are destroyedH6. 21Thou shalt not be afraidH3372 of them; for Jehovah thy 7GodH430 is in thy midstH7130, a 8GodH430 greatH1419 and terrible. 22And Jehovah thy 9GodH430 will cast out those nationsH1471 from before thee by littleH4592 and littleH4592; thou shalt not be ableH3201 to makeH3615 an endH3615 of them at once, lestH6435 the beasts of the fieldH7704 increaseH7235 upon thee. 23But Jehovah thy 10GodH430 will giveH5414 them up before thee, and will confound them with greatH1419 consternation, until they are destroyedH8045. 24And he will giveH5414 their kingsH4428 into thy handH3027, and thou shalt putH5414 out their nameH8034 from under the heavensH8064; no manH376 shall standH3320 before thee, until thou hast destroyedH8045 them. 25The graven images of their 11godsH430 shall ye burnH8313 with fireH784; thou shalt not covetH2530 the silverH3701 and goldH2091 [that is] on them and takeH3947 it unto thee, lestH6435 thou be ensnared therein; for it is an abominationH8441 to Jehovah thy 12GodH430. 26And thou shalt not bringH935 an abominationH8441 into thy houseH1004, lest thou beH1961 a cursed thingH8441 like it: thou shalt utterly detestH8262 it, and thou shalt utterly abhorH8581 it; for it is a cursed thingH8441.
