Deuteronomy 7:16-26
16You shall consumeH398 allH3605 the peoplesH5971 whomH834 the LordH3068 your GodH430 will turnH5414 overH5414 to you; 1your eyeH5869 shall not pityH2347 them, norH3808 shall you serveH5647 their godsH430, for that would be 2a snareH4170 to you.
17“IfH3588 you sayH559 in your heartH3824, ‘TheseH428 nationsH1471 are greaterH7227 thanH4480 I; howH351 canH3201 I 3dispossessH3423 them?’ 18you are not to beH3372 afraidH3372 of them; you shall 4rememberH2142 wellH2142 whatH834 the LordH3068 your GodH430 didH6213 to PharaohH6547 and to allH3605 EgyptH4714: 195the greatH1419 trialsH4531 whichH834 your eyesH5869 sawH7200 and the signsH226 and the wondersH4159, and the mightyH2389 handH3027 and the outstretchedH5186 armH2220 by whichH834 the LordH3068 your GodH430 broughtH3318 you outH3318. The LordH3068 your GodH430 will doH6213 the sameH3651 to allH3605 the peoplesH5971 of whomH834 you areH3372 afraidH3372. 20IndeedH1571, the LordH3068 your GodH430 will sendH7971 6the hornetH6880 against them, untilH5704 those who are leftH7604 and hideH5641 themselves from you perishH6. 21You are not to be terrifiedH6206 of them, becauseH3588 7the LordH3068 your GodH430 is in your midstH7130, 8a greatH1419 and awesomeH3372 GodH410. 229And the LordH3068 your GodH430 will driveH5394 awayH5394 theseH411 nationsH1471 from you littleH4592 by littleH4592; you will not beH3201 ableH3201 to putH3615 anH3615 endH3615 toH3615 them quicklyH4118, otherwiseH6435 the 10wildH7704 animalsH2421 would becomeH7235 tooH5921 numerousH7235 for you. 2311But the LordH3068 your GodH430 will turnH5414 them overH5414 to you, and will 12throwH1949 them into greatH1419 confusionH4103 untilH5704 they are destroyedH8045. 2413And He will handH3027H5414 overH5414 their kingsH4428 to you, so that you will eliminateH6 their nameH8034 from underH8478 heavenH8064; 14noH3808 oneH376 will be able to standH3320 againstH6440 you untilH5704 you have destroyedH8045 them. 25The carvedH6456 imagesH6456 of their godsH430 you are to 15burnH8313 with fireH784; you shall 16not covetH2530 the silverH3701 or the goldH2091 that is on them, norH3808 takeH3947 it for yourselves, orH6435 you will be 17trappedH3369 by it; for it is an 18abominationH8441 to the LordH3068 your GodH430. 26And you shall not bringH935 an abominationH8441 into your houseH1004 and becomeH1961 19designatedH2764 forH2764 destructionH2764, likeH3644 it; you are to utterlyH8262 detestH8262 it, and you are to utterlyH8581 loatheH8581 it, for it is somethingH2764 designatedH2764 forH2764 destructionH2764.
