Deuteronomy 28:35-46
Jehovah will smite thee in the knees and in the legs with evilH7451 ulcers, whereof thou canst not be healedH7495, from the soleH3709 of thy footH7272 unto the top of thy head.
Jehovah will bring thee, and thy kingH4428 whom thou shalt setH6965 over thee, unto a nationH1471 that neither thou nor thy fathersH1 have knownH3045, and there shalt thou serveH5647 otherH312 1godsH430, woodH6086 and stoneH68.
And thou shalt becomeH1961 an astonishment, a proverbH4912, and a bywordH4912, among all the peoplesH5971 whither Jehovah shall lead thee.
Thou shalt carry muchH7227 seedH2233 out into the fieldH7704, and shalt gatherH622 littleH4592 in; for the locustH697 shall devour it.
Thou shalt plantH5193 and till vineyardsH3754, but shalt drinkH8354 no wineH3196, nor gatherH103 [the fruit]; for the wormsH8438 shall eatH398 it.
Olive-trees shalt thou have throughout all thy bordersH1366, but thou shalt not anointH5480 thyself with oilH8081; for thine olive-tree shall cast its fruit.
SonsH1121 and daughtersH1323 shalt thou beget, but thou shalt not have them [to beH1961 with thee]; for they shall go into captivityH7628.
All thy treesH6086 and the fruitH6529 of thy groundH127 shall the locust possessH3423.
The sojournerH1616 that is in thy midstH7130 shall rise above thee higher and higher, and thou shalt sink down lower and lower.
He shall lendH3867 to thee, but thou shalt not lendH3867 to him: he shall beH1961 the headH7218, and thou shalt beH1961 the tailH2180.
And all these cursesH7045 shall comeH935 upon thee, and shall pursueH7291 thee, and overtakeH5381 thee, until thou be destroyedH8045; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voiceH6963 of Jehovah thy 2GodH430, to keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687 and his statutesH2708 which he commandedH6680 thee.
And they shall beH1961 upon thee for a signH226 and for a wonderH4159, and upon thy seedH2233 for everH5769.
