Deuteronomy 19:4-7
And this is the case of the slayer who shall fleeH5127 thither that he may live: he that smiteth his neighbour unwittingly, whom he hatedH8130 not previously;
as whenH834 he goeth into the woodH6086 with his neighbour to hew woodH6086, and his handH3027 fetcheth a stroke with the axeH1631 to cutH3772 down the treeH6086, and the ironH1270 slippeth from the handle, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he dieH4191; such an oneH259 shall fleeH5127 unto oneH259 of these citiesH5892, and live;
lestH6435 the avengerH1350 of bloodH1818 pursueH7291 the manslayer, while his heartH3824 is hot, and overtakeH5381 him, because the wayH1870 is long, and smite him mortally; whereas he was not worthy of deathH4194, since he hatedH8130 him not previously.
ThereforeH3651 I commandH6680 thee, sayingH559, Thou shalt separateH914 threeH7969 citiesH5892 for thyself.
