Deuteronomy 19:4-7
4And this is the case of the manslayer, that shall fleeH5127 thither and live: whoso killeth his neighborH7453 unawares, and hatedH8130 him not in time past; 5as whenH834 a man goeth into the forestH3293 with his neighborH7453 to hew woodH6086, and his handH3027 fetcheth a stroke with the axeH1631 to cutH3772 down the treeH6086, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighborH7453, so that he dieth; he shall fleeH5127 unto oneH259 of these citiesH5892 and live: 6lestH6435 the avengerH1350 of bloodH1818 pursueH7291 the manslayer, while his heartH3824 is hot, and overtakeH5381 him, because the wayH1870 is long, and smite him mortally; whereas he was not worthy of deathH4194, inasmuch as he hatedH8130 him not in time past. 7Wherefore I commandH6680 thee, sayingH559, Thou shalt setH914 apartH914 threeH7969 citiesH5892 for thee.
