Deuteronomy 18:11-18
or a charmer, or oneH2266 that inquireth of a spirit of Python, or a soothsayer, or oneH2266 that consulteth the deadH4191.
For every one that doeth these thingsH428 is an abominationH8441 to Jehovah, and because of these abominationsH8441 Jehovah thy 1GodH430 doth dispossessH3423 them from before thee.
Thou shalt beH1961 perfectH8549 with Jehovah thy 2GodH430.
For these nationsH1471, which thou shalt dispossessH3423, hearkened unto those that use auguries, and that use divination; but as for thee, Jehovah thy 3GodH430 hath not suffered thee [to do] soH3651.
Jehovah thy 4GodH430 will raiseH6965 up unto thee a prophetH5030 from the midstH7130 of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him shall ye hearken;
according to all that thou desiredst of Jehovah thy 5GodH430 at HorebH2722 on the dayH3117 of the assemblyH6951, sayingH559, Let me not hearH8085 againH5750 the voiceH6963 of Jehovah my 6GodH430, neither let me seeH7200 this greatH1419 fireH784 any more, that I dieH4191 not.
And Jehovah saidH559 unto me, They have wellH3190 spokenH1696 that which they have spokenH1696.
A prophetH5030 will I raiseH6965 up unto them from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will putH5414 my wordsH1697 in his mouthH6310, and he shall speakH1696 unto them all that I shall commandH6680 him.
