Deuteronomy 18:11-18
11Or a charmerH2266H2267, or a consulterH7592 with mediumsH178, or a wizardH3049, or one who calls upH1875 the deadH4191. 12For all that doH6213 these things are an abominationH8441 to the LORDH3068: and becauseH1558 of these abominationsH8441 the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 doth drive them outH3423 from beforeH6440 thee. 13Thou shalt be perfectH8549 with the LORDH3068 thy GodH430.1 14For these nationsH1471, which thou shalt possessH3423, hearkenedH8085 to observers of timesH6049, and to divinersH7080: but as for thee, the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 hath not permittedH5414 thee so to do .2
15The LORDH3068 thy GodH430 will raise upH6965 to thee a ProphetH5030 from the midstH7130 of thee, of thy brethrenH251, like me; to him ye shall hearkenH8085; 16According to all that thou didst desireH7592 of the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 in HorebH2722 in the dayH3117 of the assemblyH6951, sayingH559, Let me not hearH8085 againH3254 the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 my GodH430, neither let me seeH7200 this greatH1419 fireH784 any more, that I may not dieH4191. 17And the LORDH3068 saidH559 to me, They have wellH3190 spoken of that which they have spokenH1696. 18I will raise up to themH6965 a ProphetH5030 from amongH7130 their brethrenH251, like thee, and will putH5414 my wordsH1697 in his mouthH6310; and he shall speakH1696 to them all that I shall commandH6680 him.
