Isaiah 66:3-17
He that killeth an oxH7794 is as he that slayeth a manH376; he that sacrificeth a lambH7716, as he that breaketh a dog’sH3611 neckH6202; he that offereth an oblation, as he that offereth swine’s bloodH1818; he that burneth frankincenseH3828, as he that blesseth an idol. Yea, they have chosenH977 their own waysH1870, and their soulH5315 delighteth in their abominationsH8251: 4I alsoH1571 will chooseH977 their delusions, and will bringH935 their fears upon them; because whenH834 I calledH7121, none did answerH6030; whenH834 I spake, they did not hearH8085: but they did that which was evilH7451 in mine eyesH5869, and choseH977 that wherein I delighted not.
HearH8085 the wordH1697 of Jehovah, ye that tremble at his wordH1697: Your brethren that hateH8130 you, that cast you out for my name’sH8034 sakeH4616, have saidH559, Let Jehovah be glorifiedH3513, that we may seeH7200 your joyH8057; but it is they that shall be putH954 to shameH954. 6A voiceH6963 of tumult from the cityH5892, a voiceH6963 from the templeH1964, a voiceH6963 of Jehovah that rendereth recompenseH1576 to his enemiesH341.
Before she travailed, she broughtH935 forthH3205; before her pain cameH935, she was deliveredH4422 of a man-child. 8Who hath heardH8085 such a thing? who hath seenH7200 such thingsH428? Shall a landH776 be bornH3205 in oneH259 dayH3117? shall a nationH1471 be broughtH3205 forthH3205 at once? for as soon as ZionH6726 travailed, she broughtH3205 forthH3205 her children. 9Shall I bringH3205 to the birthH3205, and not cause to bringH3205 forthH3205? saith Jehovah: shall I that cause to bringH3205 forthH3205 shutH6113 the womb? saith thy GodH430.
RejoiceH8055 ye with JerusalemH3389, and be gladH8055 for her, all ye that loveH157 her: rejoiceH8055 for joyH4885 with her, all ye that mournH56 over her; 11that ye may suckH3243 and be satisfiedH7646 with the breastsH7699 of her consolationsH8575; that ye may milk out, and be delightedH6026 with the abundance of her gloryH3519. 12For thusH3541 saith Jehovah, Behold, I will extendH5186 peaceH7965 to her like a riverH5104, and the gloryH3519 of the nationsH1471 like an overflowingH7857 stream: and ye shall suckH3243 thereof; ye shall be borneH5375 upon the sideH6654, and shall be dandled upon the knees. 13As oneH376 whom his motherH517 comforteth, soH3651 will I comfortH5162 you; and ye shall be comfortedH5162 in JerusalemH3389. 14And ye shall seeH7200 it, and your heartH3820 shall rejoiceH7797, and your bonesH6106 shall flourish like the tender grassH1877: and the handH3027 of Jehovah shall be knownH3045 toward his servantsH5650; and he will have indignation against his enemiesH341.
For, behold, Jehovah will comeH935 with fireH784, and his chariotsH4818 shall be like the whirlwind; to render his angerH639 with fierceness, and his rebukeH1606 with flamesH3851 of fireH784. 16For by fireH784 will Jehovah execute judgmentH8199, and by his swordH2719, upon all fleshH1320; and the slainH2491 of Jehovah shall be manyH7231. 17They that sanctifyH6942 themselves and purifyH2891 themselves to go unto the gardensH1593, behind oneH259 in the midstH8432, eatingH398 swine’s fleshH1320, and the abomination, and the mouseH5909, they shall comeH5486 to an endH5486 togetherH3162, saith Jehovah.
