Isaiah 40:3-11
3The voiceH6963 of one that crieth, Prepare ye in the wildernessH4057 the wayH1870 of Jehovah; makeH3474 level in the desertH6160 a highwayH4546 for our GodH430. 4Every valleyH1516 shall beH1961 exalted, and every mountainH2022 and hillH2022 shall beH1961 made lowH8213; and the uneven shall beH1961 made levelH4334, and the rough places a plainH4334: 5and the gloryH3519 of Jehovah shall be revealedH1540, and all fleshH1320 shall seeH7200 it togetherH3162; for the mouthH6310 of Jehovah hath spokenH1696 it.
6The voiceH6963 of one sayingH559, Cry. And one saidH559, What shall I cry? All fleshH1320 is grassH2682, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flowerH6731 of the fieldH7704. 7The grassH2682 withereth, the flowerH6731 fadeth, because the breathH7307 of Jehovah bloweth upon it; surely the peopleH5971 is grassH2682. 8The grassH2682 withereth, the flowerH6731 fadeth; but the wordH1697 of our GodH430 shall standH6965 foreverH5769.
9O thou that tellest good tidings to ZionH6726, get thee up on a highH1364 mountainH2022; O thou that tellest good tidings to JerusalemH3389, liftH7311 up thy voiceH6963 with strengthH3581; liftH7311 it up, be not afraidH3372; sayH559 unto the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, Behold, your GodH430! 10Behold, the LordH136 Jehovah will comeH935 as a mightyH2389 one, and his armH2220 will ruleH4910 for him: Behold, his rewardH7939 is with him, and his recompenseH6468 before him. 11He will feedH7462 his flockH5739 like a shepherdH7462, he will gatherH6908 the lambs in his armH2220, and carryH5375 them in his bosomH2436, and will gently leadH5095 those that have their young.
