Isaiah 26:17-21
17Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain and crieth out in her pangs; so we have beenH1961 before thee, O Jehovah. 18We have been with childH3205, we have been in pain, we have as it were broughtH3205 forthH3205 windH7307; we have not wrought any deliveranceH3444 in the earthH776; neither have the inhabitantsH3427 of the worldH8398 fallenH5307. 19Thy deadH4191 shall liveH2421; my deadH4191 bodies shall ariseH6965. Awake and singH7442, ye that dwellH7931 in the dustH6083; for thy dewH2919 is as the dewH2919 of herbs, and the earthH776 shall castH5307 forth the deadH4191.
20ComeH935, my peopleH5971, enter thou into thy chambersH2315, and shutH5462 thy doorsH1817 about thee: hideH2247 thyself for a littleH4592 momentH7281, until the indignationH2195 be overpast. 21For, behold, Jehovah cometh forthH3318 out of his placeH4725 to punishH6485 the inhabitantsH3427 of the earthH776 for their iniquityH5771: the earthH776 also shall disclose her bloodH1818, and shall no more coverH3680 her slainH2026.
