18While He was sayingλαλοῦντοςlalountosG2980theseG3778thingsΤαῦταTautaG3778to them, beholdἰδοὺidouG2400, a synagogueofficialἄρχωνarchōnG758cameG4334andbowedG4352downπροσεκύνειprosekuneiG4352beforeG4352Him, and saidλέγωνlegōnG3004, “My daughterθυγάτηρthugatērG2364has justἄρτιartiG737diedἐτελεύτησεν·eteleutēsenG5053;but comeG2064and layἐπίθεςepithesG2007Your handχεῖράcheiraG5495on her, and she will becomeG2198aliveG2198againG2198.”

19JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424gotG1453upG1453from the table and began toaccompanyἠκολούθησενēkolouthēsenG190him, along with His disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101.

20And beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,a womanγυνὴgunēG1135who had been sufferingG131fromG131aG131hemorrhageG131for twelveδώδεκαdōdekaG1427yearsἔτηetēG2094cameπροσελθοῦσαproselthousaG4334upG4334behindὄπισθενopisthenG3693Him, and touchedἥψατοhēpsatoG681theborderκρασπέδουkraspedouG2899of HiscloakἱματίουhimatiouG2440;

21for she wassayingἔλεγενelegenG3004to herselfἑαυτῇ·he'autēaG1438, “IfἐὰνeanG1437I onlyG3440touchἅψωμαιhapsōmaiG681His cloakἱματίουhimatiouG2440, I willgetG4982wellG4982.”

22But JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424,turningστραφεὶςstrapheisG4762and seeingG3708her, saidG3004,“Daughterθύγατερ,thugaterG2364,takeθάρσειtharseiG2293courageG2293;your faithπίστιςpistisG4102hasmadeG4982you wellG4982.” Andat onceὥρας ἐκείνης.hōras ekeinēsG1565 G5610the womanγυνὴgunēG1135wasmadeG4982wellG4982.

23When JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424cameἐλθὼνelthōnG2064into theofficial’sἄρχοντοςarchontosG758houseοἰκίανoikianG3614and sawG3708the fluteαὐλητὰςaulētasG834playersG834and the crowdὄχλονochlonG3793inG2350noisyG2350disorderG2350,

24He saidἔλεγενelegenG3004,“Leaveἀναχωρεῖτε,anachōreiteG402;for the girlκοράσιονkorasionG2877has not diedἀπέθανενapethanenG599,but isG2518asleepG2518.” And they beganlaughingG2606atG2606Him.

25ButwhenὅτεhoteG3753the crowdὄχλος,ochlosG3793had been sentG1544outG1544,He enteredεἰσελθὼνeiselthōnG1525andtookἐκράτησενekratēsenG2902her by the handχειρὸςcheirosG5495,and the girlκοράσιον.korasionG2877gotG1453upG1453.

26AndthisαὕτηhautēG3778newsφήμηphēmēG5345spreadἐξῆλθενexēlthenG1831throughoutεἰς ὅληνeis holēnG1519 G3650that landγῆνgēnG1093.

27As JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424wentπαράγοντιparagontiG3855on fromG1564thereG1564,twoδύοduoG1417menG5185whoG5185wereG5185blindτυφλοὶtuphloiG5185followedἠκολούθησανēkolouthēsanG190Him, cryingκράζοντεςkrazontesG2896outG2896, “HaveG1653mercyἐλέησονeleēsonG1653on us,SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of DavidG1160!”

28And after He enteredἐλθόντιelthontiG2064the houseοἰκίανoikianG3614,the menG5185whoG5185wereG5185blindτυφλοί,tuphloiG5185cameG4334upG4334to Him, and JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them,“Do you believeπιστεύετεpisteueteG4100that I amG1410ableδύναμαιdunamaiG1410to doποιῆσαι;poiēsaiG4160thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778?”They saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004to Him, “YesναὶnaiG3483,Lordκύριε.kurieG2962.”

29ThenτότεtoteG5119He touchedἥψατοhēpsatoG681their eyesὀφθαλμῶνophthalmōnG3788,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “It shall be doneγενηθήτωgenēthētōG1096for youaccordingκατὰkataG2596to your faithπίστινpistinG4102.”

30And their eyesὀφθαλμοί.ophthalmoiG3788were openedἠνεῴχθησανēneōchthēsanG455.And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424sternlyG1690warnedG1690them, sayingλέγων·legōnG3004,“SeeὁρᾶτεhorateG3708that noG3367oneμηδεὶςmēdeisG3367knowsγινωσκέτω.ginōsketōG1097about this!”

31But they wentG1831outG1831andspreadG1310theG1310newsG1310about Him throughoutἐν ὅλῃen holēG1722 G3650that landγῇgēaG1093.

32And as they were goingG1831outG1831,beholdἰδοὺidouG2400, ademon-possessedδαιμονιζόμενον.daimonizomenonG1139manἄνθρωπονanthrōponG444who was unableG2974to speakG2974was broughtπροσήνεγκανprosēnegkanG4374to Him.

33And after the demonδαιμονίουdaimoniouG1140was castἐκβληθέντοςekblēthentosG1544outG1544,the manκωφός.kōphosG2974who was previouslyunableG2974to speakG2974talkedἐλάλησενelalēsenG2980;and the crowdsὄχλοιochloiG3793were amazedἐθαύμασανethaumasanG2296, and weresayingλέγοντεςlegontesG3004, “NothingG3763likeG3779thisG3779has everG3763been seenἐφάνηephanēG5316in IsraelἸσραήλ.IsraēlG2474.”

34But the PhariseesΦαρισαῖοιPharisaioiG5330were sayingἔλεγον·elegonG3004, “HecastsἐκβάλλειekballeiG1544outG1544the demonsδαιμονίωνdaimoniōnG1140by the rulerἄρχοντιarchontiG758of the demonsδαιμόνια.¶daimoniaG1140.”

35JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424was goingG4013throughG4013allπάσαςpasasG3956the citiesπόλειςpoleisG4172and villagesκώμαςkōmasG2968,teachingδιδάσκωνdidaskōnG1321in their synagoguesσυναγωγαῖςsunagōgaisG4864and proclaimingκηρύσσωνkērussōnG2784the gospelεὐαγγέλιονeuangelionG2098of the kingdomβασιλείαςbasileiasG932,and healingθεραπεύωνtherapeuōnG2323everyπᾶσανpasanG3956diseaseνόσονnosonG3554and everyπᾶσανpasanG3956sicknessμαλακίανmalakianG3119.

36SeeingG3708the crowdsὄχλουςochlousG3793,He feltG4697compassionἐσπλαγχνίσθηesplagchnisthēG4697for them,becauseὅτιhotiG3754they weredistressedἐσκυλμένοιeskulmenoiG4660and downcastἐρριμμένοιerrimmenoiG4496,likeὡσεὶhōseiG5616sheepπρόβαταprobataG4263withoutμὴ ἔχονταmē echontaG3361 G2192a shepherdποιμένα.¶poimenaG4166.

37ThenΤότεToteG5119He saidλέγειlegeiG3004to His disciplesμαθηταῖςmathētaisG3101, “The harvestθερισμὸςtherismosG2326is plentifulπολύς,polusG4183,but the workersἐργάταιergataiG2040are fewὀλίγοι·oligoiG3641.

38ThereforeοὖνounG3767,pleadδεήθητεdeēthēteG1189with the LordκυρίουkuriouG2962of the harvestθερισμοῦtherismouG2326to sendἐκβάλῃekbalēG1544outG1544workersἐργάταςergatasG2040into His harvestθερισμὸνtherismonG2326.”
