Revelation 11

The Two Witnesses

1ThenG2532 there was givenG1325 me a 12measuringG2563 rodG2563 likeG3664 a staffG4464; 3and 4someone saidG3004, “GetG1453 up and measureG3354 the 5templeG3485 of GodG2316 and the altarG2379, and thoseG3588 who worshipG4352 in it. 26LeaveG1544 out the 7courtG833 which is outsideG1855 the 8templeG3485 and do not measureG3354 it, for 9it has been givenG1325 to the nationsG1484; and they will 10treadG3961 underG3961 footG3961 11the holyG40 cityG4172 for 12forty-twoG5065G1417 monthsG3376. 3And I will grantG1325 authority to my twoG1417 13witnessesG3144, and they will prophesyG4395 for 14twelveG5507G1250 hundredG5507G1250 and sixtyG1835 daysG2250, clothedG4016 in 15sackclothG4526.” 4TheseG3778 are the 16twoG1417 oliveG1636 treesG1636 and the twoG1417 lampstandsG3087 that standG2476 beforeG1799 the LordG2962 of the earthG1093. 5And ifG1487 anyoneG5100 wantsG2309 to harmG91 them, 17fireG4442 flowsG1607 out of their mouthG4750 and devoursG2719 their enemiesG2190; soG2532 ifG1487 anyoneG5100 wantsG2309 to harmG91 them, 18he mustG1163 be killedG615 in thisG3779 wayG3779. 6TheseG3778 haveG2192 the powerG1849 to 19shutG2808 up the skyG3772, soG2443 that rainG5205 will not fallG1026 during 20the daysG2250 of their prophesyingG4394; and they haveG2192 powerG1849 overG1909 the watersG5204 to 21turnG4762 them into bloodG129, and 22to strikeG3960 the earthG1093 with everyG3956 plagueG4127, as oftenG3740 as they desireG2309.

7WhenG3752 they have finishedG5055 their testimonyG3141, 23the beastG2342 that comesG305 up out of the 24abyssG12 will 25makeG4160 warG4171 with them, and overcomeG3528 them and killG615 them. 8And their deadG4430 bodiesG4430 will lie in the streetG4116 of the 26greatG3173 cityG4172 whichG3748 27mysticallyG4153 is calledG2564 28SodomG4670 and 29EgyptG125, whereG3699 alsoG2532 their LordG2962 was crucifiedG4717. 9Those from 30the peoplesG2992 and tribesG5443 and tonguesG1100 and nationsG1484 will lookG991 at their deadG4430 31bodiesG4430 for threeG5140 and a halfG2255 daysG2250, and 3233will not permitG863 their deadG4430 bodiesG4430 to be laidG5087 in a tombG3418. 10And 34thoseG3588 who dwellG2730 on the earthG1093 will rejoiceG5463 overG1909 them and celebrateG2165; and they will 35sendG3992 giftsG1435 to oneG240 anotherG240, becauseG3754 theseG3778 twoG1417 prophetsG4396 tormentedG928 36thoseG3588 who dwellG2730 on the earthG1093.

11But afterG3326 the threeG5140 and a halfG2255 daysG2250, 37the breathG4151 of lifeG2222 from GodG2316 cameG1525 into them, and they stoodG2476 on their feetG4228; and greatG3173 fearG5401 fellG1968 upon thoseG3588 who were watchingG2334 them. 12And they heardG191 a loudG3173 voiceG5456 from heavenG3772 sayingG3004 to them, “38ComeG305 up hereG5602.” ThenG2532 they 39wentG305 up into heavenG3772 in the cloudG3507, and their enemiesG2190 watchedG2334 them. 13And in that hourG5610 there was a greatG3173 40earthquakeG4578, and a tenthG1182 of the cityG4172 fellG4098; 41sevenG2033 thousandG5505 peopleG3686G444 were killedG615 in the earthquakeG4578, and the restG3062 were terrifiedG1719 and 42gaveG1325 gloryG1391 to the 43GodG2316 of heavenG3772.

14The secondG1208 44woeG3759 is pastG565; beholdG2400, the thirdG5154 woeG3759 is comingG2064 quicklyG5035.

The Seventh Trumpet--Christ’s Reign Foreseen

15ThenG2532 the 45seventhG1442 angelG32 soundedG4537; and there were 46loudG3173 voicesG5456 in heavenG3772, sayingG3004,

“47The kingdomG932 of the worldG2889 has becomeG1096 the kingdom of our LordG2962 and of 48His 49ChristG5547; and 50He will reignG936 foreverG165 and everG165.” 16And the twenty-fourG1501G5064 eldersG4245, who 51sitG2521 on their thronesG2362 beforeG1799 GodG2316, 52fellG4098 on their facesG4383 and worshipedG4352 GodG2316, 17sayingG3004,

“We giveG2168 You thanksG2168, 53O LordG2962 GodG2316, the AlmightyG3841, who are and whoG3588 were, becauseG3754 You have takenG2983 Your greatG3173 powerG1411 and have begun to 54reignG936. 18And 55the nationsG1484 were enragedG3710, and 56Your wrathG3709 cameG2064, and 57the timeG2540 came for the deadG3498 to be judgedG2919, and the time to 58rewardG3408 Your 59bond-servantsG1401 the prophetsG4396 and the 60saintsG40 and thoseG3588 who fearG5399 Your nameG3686, 61the smallG3398 and the greatG3173, and to destroyG1311 thoseG3588 who destroyG1311 the earthG1093.”

19And 62the 63templeG3485 of GodG2316 which is in heavenG3772 was openedG455; and 64the arkG2787 of His covenantG1242 appearedG3708 in His 65templeG3485, and there were flashesG796 of 66lightningG796 and soundsG5456 and pealsG1027 of thunderG1027 and an earthquakeG4578 and a 67greatG3173 68hailstormG5464.
