Revelation 20

Satan Bound

1ThenG2532 I sawG3708 1an angelG32 comingG2597 downG2597 from heavenG3772, holdingG2192 the 2keyG2807 of the abyssG12 and a greatG3173 chainG254 3in his handG5495. 2And he laidG2902 holdG2902 of the 4dragonG1404, the serpentG3789 of oldG744, whoG3739 is the devilG1228 and SatanG4567, and 5boundG1210 him for a thousandG5507 yearsG2094; 3and he threwG906 him into the 6abyssG12, and shutG2808 it and 7sealedG4972 it overG1883 him, soG2443 that he would 8not deceiveG4105 the nationsG1484 anyG2089 longerG2089, untilG891 the thousandG5507 yearsG2094 were completedG5055; afterG3326 theseG3778 thingsG3778 he mustG1163 be releasedG3089 for a shortG3398 timeG5550.

4ThenG2532 I sawG3708 9thronesG2362, and 10they satG2523 on them, and 11judgmentG2917 was givenG1325 to them. And I saw 12the soulsG5590 of thoseG3588 who had been beheadedG3990 becauseG1223 of 13their 14testimonyG3141 of JesusG2424 and becauseG1223 of the wordG3056 of GodG2316, and those whoG3748 had not 15worshipedG4352 the beastG2342 orG3761 his imageG1504, and had not receivedG2983 the 16markG5480 on their foreheadG3359 and on their handG5495; and they 17came to lifeG2198 and 18reignedG936 with ChristG5547 for a thousandG5507 yearsG2094. 5The restG3062 of the deadG3498 did not come to lifeG2198 untilG891 the thousandG5507 yearsG2094 were completedG5055. 19ThisG3778 is the firstG4413 resurrectionG386. 620BlessedG3107 and holyG40 is the one who hasG2192 a partG3313 in the firstG4413 resurrectionG386; overG1909 theseG3778 the 21secondG1208 deathG2288 hasG2192 noG3756 powerG1849, but they will be 22priestsG2409 of GodG2316 and of ChristG5547 and will 23reignG936 with Him for a thousandG5507 yearsG2094.

Satan Freed, Doomed

7WhenG3752 the thousandG5507 yearsG2094 are completedG5055, SatanG4567 will be 24releasedG3089 from his prisonG5438, 8and will comeG1831 out to 25deceiveG4105 the nationsG1484 which are in the 26fourG5064 cornersG1137 of the earthG1093, 27GogG1136 and MagogG3098, to 28gatherG4863 them togetherG4863 for the warG4171; the numberG706 of them is likeG5613 the 29sandG285 of the 30seashoreG2281. 9And they 31cameG305 up on the 32broadG4114 plainG4114 of the earthG1093 and surroundedG2943 the 33campG3925 of the 34saintsG40 and the 35belovedG25 cityG4172, and 36fireG4442 cameG2597 downG2597 from heavenG3772 and devouredG2719 them. 10And 37the devilG1228 who 38deceivedG4105 them was thrownG906 into the 39lakeG3041 of fireG4442 and 40brimstoneG2303, whereG3699 the 41beastG2342 and the 42falseG5578 prophetG5578 are alsoG2532; and they will be 43tormentedG928 dayG2250 and nightG3571 foreverG165 and everG165.

Judgment at the Throne of God

11ThenG2532 I sawG3708 a greatG3173 whiteG3022 44throneG2362 and Him who satG2521 upon it, from whoseG3739 45presenceG4383 46earthG1093 and heavenG3772 fledG5343 awayG5343, and 47noG3756 placeG5117 was foundG2147 for them. 12And I sawG3708 the deadG3498, the 48greatG3173 and the smallG3398, standingG2476 beforeG1799 the throneG2362, and 4950booksG975 were openedG455; and anotherG243 51bookG975 was openedG455, whichG3739 is 52the book of lifeG2222; and the deadG3498 53were judgedG2919 from the things which were writtenG1125 in the 54booksG975, 55accordingG2596 to their deedsG2041. 13And the seaG2281 gaveG1325 up the deadG3498 which were in it, and 56deathG2288 and HadesG86 57gaveG1325 up the deadG3498 which were in them; and they were judgedG2919, everyG1538 oneG1538 of them 58accordingG2596 to their deedsG2041. 14ThenG2532 59deathG2288 and HadesG86 were thrownG906 into 60the lakeG3041 of fireG4442. ThisG3778 is the 61secondG1208 deathG2288, the lakeG3041 of fireG4442. 15And ifG1487 62anyone’sG5100 name was not foundG2147 writtenG1125 in 63the bookG976 of lifeG2222, he was thrownG906 into the lakeG3041 of fireG4442.
