9But ifεἰeiG1487they do not haveG1467self-controlG1467,let them marryγαμησάτωσαν·gamēsatōsanG1060;for it is betterG2909to marryγαμῆσαιgamēsaiG1060thanἢēG2228to burnπυροῦσθαι.¶purousthaiG4448with passion.

10But to the marriedγεγαμηκόσινgegamēkosinG1060I giveG3853instructionsG3853,not I, but the Lordκύριος,kuriosG2962,that the wifeγυναῖκαgunaikaG1135should notleaveχωρισθῆναι·chōristhēnaiG5563her husbandἀνδρὸςandrosG435

11(but ifἐὰνeanG1437she does leaveχωρισθῇ,chōristhēaG5563,she must remainμενέτωmenetōG3306unmarriedἄγαμοςagamosG22,orG2228elseG2228be reconciledκαταλλαγήτω·katallagētōG2644to her husbandἀνδρὶandriG435),and that the husbandἄνδραandraG435should notdivorceἀφιέναι.¶aphienaiG863his wifeγυναῖκαgunaikaG1135.
