Matthew 21:1-16

1And whenG3753 they drew near to JerusalemG2414 and cameG2064 to BethphageG967, at the mountG3735 of Olives, then JesusG2424 sentG649 twoG1417 disciplesG3101,

2sayingG3004 to them, GoG4198 into the villageG2968 over against you, and immediatelyG2112 ye will findG2147 an ass tied, and a coltG4454 with it; looseG3089 [them] and leadG71 [them] to me.

3And if any oneG5100 sayG3004 anythingG5100 to you, ye shall sayG3004, The LordG2962 has needG5532 of them, and straightway he will sendG649 them.

4But all this cameG1096 to passG1096, that that might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophetG4396, sayingG3004,

5SayG3004 to the daughterG2364 of ZionG4622, BeholdG2400 thy KingG935 cometh to thee, meek, and mounted upon an ass, and upon a coltG4454 the foal of an ass.

6But the disciplesG3101, having goneG4198 and done as JesusG2424 had ordered them,

7broughtG71 the ass and the coltG4454 and putG2007 their garmentsG2440 upon them, and he sat on them.

8But a very greatG4183 crowdG3793 strewed their ownG1438 garmentsG2440 on the wayG3598, and othersG243 kept cutting down branchesG2798 from the treesG1186 and strewing them on the wayG3598.

9And the crowdsG3793 who went before him and who followedG190 criedG2896, sayingG3004, HosannaG5614 to the SonG5207 of DavidG1138; blessedG2127 [be] he who comesG2064 in the nameG3686 of [the] LordG2962; hosannaG5614 in the highestG5310.

10And as he enteredG1525 into JerusalemG2414, the whole cityG4172 wasG1510 moved, sayingG3004, Who isG1510 this?

11And the crowdsG3793 saidG3004, This isG1510 JesusG2424 the prophetG4396 who isG1510 from NazarethG3478 of GalileeG1056.

12And JesusG2424 enteredG1525 into the temple [of 1GodG2316], and castG1544 out all that soldG4453 and boughtG59 in the temple, and overthrew the tablesG5132 of the money-changers and the seatsG2515 of those that soldG4453 the dovesG4058.

13And he saysG3004 to them, It is writtenG1125, My houseG3624 shall be calledG2564 a houseG3624 of prayerG4335, but ye have madeG4160 it a denG4693 of robbersG3027.

14And blindG5185 and lameG5560 cameG4334 to him in the temple, and he healedG2323 them.

15And when the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the scribesG1122 sawG3708 the wonders which he wrought, and the childrenG3816 cryingG2896 in the temple and sayingG3004, HosannaG5614 to the SonG5207 of DavidG1138, they were indignantG23,

16and saidG3004 to him, Hearest thou what these sayG3004? And JesusG2424 saysG3004 to them, Yea; have ye neverG3763 readG314, Out of the mouthG4750 of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praiseG136?
