Deuteronomy 7:2-11
and when Jehovah thy 1GodH430 shall giveH5414 them up before thee and thou shalt smite them, then shalt thou utterly destroyH2763 them: thou shalt makeH5414 no covenantH1285 with them, nor shew mercy unto them.
And thou shalt makeH5414 no marriages with them: thy daughterH1323 thou shalt not giveH5414 unto his sonH1121, nor takeH3947 his daughterH1323 for thy sonH1121;
for he will turnH5493 awayH5493 thy sonH1121 from following me, and they will serveH5647 otherH312 2godsH430, and the angerH639 of Jehovah will be kindled against you, and he will destroyH8045 thee quicklyH4118.
But thusH3541 shall ye deal with them: ye shall breakH7665 down their altarsH4196, and shatterH7665 their statues, and hew downH5422 their Asherahs, and burnH8313 their graven images with fireH784.
For a holyH6918 peopleH5971 art thou unto Jehovah thy 3GodH430: Jehovah thy 4GodH430 hath chosenH977 thee to beH1961 unto him a peopleH5971 for a possessionH5459, above all the peoplesH5971 that are upon the faceH6440 of the earthH127.
Not because ye were more in number than all the peoplesH5971, hath Jehovah been attached to you and chosenH977 you, for ye are the fewestH4592 of all the peoplesH5971;
but because Jehovah loved you, and because he would keepH8104 the oathH7621 which he had swornH7650 unto your fathersH1, hath Jehovah broughtH3318 you out with a powerful handH3027, and redeemedH6299 you out of the houseH1004 of bondage, from the handH3027 of PharaohH6547 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714.
And thou shalt knowH3045 that Jehovah thy 5GodH430, he is 6GodH430, the faithfulH539 7GodH430, who keepeth covenantH1285 and mercy to a thousandH505 generationsH1755 with them that loveH157 him and keepH8104 his commandmentsH4687;
and repayeth them that hateH8130 him [each] to his faceH6440, to cause them to perishH6: he delayeth not with him that hateth him, he will repayH7999 him to his faceH6440.
And thou shalt keepH8104 the commandmentH4687, and the statutesH2706, and the ordinancesH4941, which I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117, to do them.
