Deuteronomy 2:16-22
And it came to pass when all the menH376 of warH4421 were consumed, having diedH4191 off from among the peopleH5971,
that Jehovah spokeH1696 to me, sayingH559,
Thou art to passH5674 this dayH3117 over the borderH1366 of MoabH4124, [which is] ArH6144,
and come near over against the children of AmmonH5983; thou shalt not distress them nor attack them; for I will not giveH5414 thee of the landH776 of the children of AmmonH5983 a possessionH3425; for unto the children of LotH3876 have I givenH5414 it as a possessionH3425.
(That alsoH637 is reckonedH2803 a landH776 of giants: giants dweltH3427 therein in time past, and the AmmonitesH5984 callH7121 them Zamzummim;
a peopleH5971 greatH1419, and manyH7227, and tall as the Anakim; and Jehovah destroyedH8045 them before them, and they dispossessedH3423 them, and dweltH3427 in their stead;
as he did to the children of EsauH6215, who dweltH3427 in SeirH8165, from before whom he destroyedH8045 the Horites; and they dispossessedH3423 them, and dweltH3427 in their stead, even to this dayH3117.
