Deuteronomy 2:16-22
16So it came to pass, when all the menH376 of warH4421 were consumed and deadH4191 from among the peopleH5971, 17that Jehovah spake unto me, sayingH559, 18Thou art this dayH3117 to passH5674 over ArH6144, the borderH1366 of MoabH4124: 19and when thou comest nigh over against the children of AmmonH5983, vex them not, nor contend with them; for I will not giveH5414 thee of the landH776 of the children of AmmonH5983 for a possessionH3425; because I have givenH5414 it unto the children of LotH3876 for a possessionH3425. 20(That alsoH637 is accountedH2803 a landH776 of RephaimH7497: RephaimH7497 dweltH3427 therein aforetime; but the AmmonitesH5984 callH7121 them Zamzummim, 21a peopleH5971 greatH1419, and manyH7227, and tall, as the Anakim; but Jehovah destroyedH8045 them before them; and they succeeded them, and dweltH3427 in their stead; 22as he did for the children of EsauH6215, that dwellH3427 in SeirH8165, when he destroyedH8045 the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and dweltH3427 in their stead even unto this dayH3117.
