15And the angerH639 of Jehovah was kindled against AmaziahH558, and he sentH7971 to him a prophetH5030, who saidH559 to him, WhyH4100 dost thou seekH1875 after the 1godsH430 of a peopleH5971 who have not deliveredH5337 their own peopleH5971 out of thy handH3027?
16And it came to pass as he talked with him, that [Amaziah] saidH559 to him, Hast thou beenH1961 madeH6213 the king's counsellor? Forbear; whyH4100 shouldest thou beH1961 smitten? Then the prophetH5030 forbore, and saidH559, I knowH3045 that 2GodH430 has determined to destroyH7843 thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened to my counselH6098.
