2 Chronicles 25:15-16
15Wherefore the angerH639 of Jehovah was kindled against AmaziahH558, and he sentH7971 unto him a prophetH5030, who saidH559 unto him, WhyH4100 hast thou soughtH1875 after the godsH430 of the peopleH5971, which have not deliveredH5337 their own peopleH5971 out of thy handH3027? 16And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the kingH4428 saidH559 unto him, Have we madeH6213 thee of the king’sH4428 counselH6098? forbear; whyH4100 shouldest thou beH1961 smitten? Then the prophetH5030 forbare, and saidH559, I knowH3045 that GodH430 hath determined to destroyH7843 thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counselH6098.
