Darby Bible
Chronicles 21:6-13
And he walked in the wayH1870 of the kingsH4428 of IsraelH3478, as did the houseH1004 of AhabH256, for the daughterH1323 of AhabH256 wasH1961 his wifeH802; and he did evilH7451 in the sight of Jehovah.
But Jehovah wouldH14 not destroyH7843 the houseH1004 of DavidH1732, because of the covenantH1285 that he had madeH3772 with DavidH1732, and as he had promised to giveH5414 to him always a lampH5216, and to his sonsH1121.
In his daysH3117 EdomH123 revolted from under the handH3027 of JudahH3063, and they set a kingH4428 over themselves.
And JehoramH3088 wentH5437 over with his captains, and all the chariotsH7393 with him; and he roseH6965 up by nightH3915, and smote the Edomites who had surroundedH5437 him, and the captains of the chariotsH7393.
But the Edomites revolted from under the handH3027 of JudahH3063 unto this dayH3117. ThenH227 LibnahH3841 revolted at the same timeH6256 from under his handH3027, because he had forsaken Jehovah the 1GodH430 of his fathersH1.
Moreover he madeH6213 highH1116 placesH1116 on the mountainsH2022 of JudahH3063, and caused the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 to commit fornication, and compelled JudahH3063 [thereto].
And there cameH935 a writing to him from ElijahH452 the prophetH5030 sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, the 2GodH430 of DavidH1732 thy fatherH1: Because thou hast not walkedH1980 in the waysH1870 of JehoshaphatH3092 thy fatherH1, nor in the waysH1870 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063,
but hast walked in the wayH1870 of the kingsH4428 of IsraelH3478, and hast made JudahH3063 and the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 to commit fornication, like the fornications of the houseH1004 of AhabH256, and alsoH1571 hast slainH2026 thy brethren, thy father's houseH1004 who were betterH2896 than thyself:
