Chronicles 16:2-9
And AsaH609 broughtH3318 out silverH3701 and goldH2091 out of the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of Jehovah and of the king's houseH1004, and sentH7971 to Ben-hadadH1130 kingH4428 of Syria, who dweltH3427 at DamascusH1834, sayingH559,
There is a league between me and thee, and between my fatherH1 and thy fatherH1: behold, I sendH7971 thee silverH3701 and goldH2091; goH5927, breakH6565 thy league with BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, that he may depart from me.
And Ben-hadadH1130 hearkened to kingH4428 AsaH609, and sentH7971 the captains of his forces against the citiesH5892 of IsraelH3478; and they smote IjonH5859 and DanH1835 and Abelmaim, and all the store-magazines of the citiesH5892 of NaphtaliH5321.
And it came to pass when BaashaH1201 heardH8085 of it, that he left off buildingH1129 RamahH7414, and let his workH4399 ceaseH2308.
And kingH4428 AsaH609 tookH3947 all JudahH3063; and they carriedH5375 awayH5375 the stonesH68 and the timber from RamahH7414, with which BaashaH1201 had been buildingH1129, and he builtH1129 with them GebaH1387 and MizpahH4709.
And at that timeH6256 HananiH2607 the seer cameH935 to AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and saidH559 unto him, Because thou hast relied on the kingH4428 of Syria, and hast not relied on Jehovah thy 1GodH430, thereforeH3651 has the army of the kingH4428 of Syria escapedH4422 out of thy handH3027.
WereH1961 not the Ethiopians and the LibyansH3864 a huge armyH2428, with veryH3966 many chariotsH7393 and horsemenH6571? but when thou didst rely on Jehovah, he delivered them into thy handH3027.
For the eyesH5869 of Jehovah run to and fro through the whole earthH776, to shew himself strongH2388 in the behalf of those whose heartH3824 is perfectH8003 toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishlyH5528; for from henceforth thou shalt have warsH4421.
