2 Chronicles 16:2-9
2Then AsaH609 broughtH3318 out silverH3701 and goldH2091 out of the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of Jehovah and of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and sentH7971 to Ben-hadadH1130 kingH4428 of Syria, that dweltH3427 at DamascusH1834, sayingH559, 3There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my fatherH1 and thy fatherH1: behold, I have sentH7971 thee silverH3701 and goldH2091; goH5927, breakH6565 thy league with BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, that he may depart from me. 4And Ben-hadadH1130 hearkened unto kingH4428 AsaH609, and sentH7971 the captains of his armiesH2428 against the citiesH5892 of IsraelH3478; and they smote IjonH5859, and DanH1835, and Abel-maim, and all the store-cities of NaphtaliH5321. 5And it came to pass, when BaashaH1201 heardH8085 thereof, that he left off buildingH1129 RamahH7414, and let his workH4399 ceaseH2308. 6Then AsaH609 the kingH4428 tookH3947 all JudahH3063; and they carriedH5375 awayH5375 the stonesH68 of RamahH7414, and the timber thereof, wherewith BaashaH1201 had builded; and he builtH1129 therewith GebaH1387 and MizpahH4709.
7And at that timeH6256 HananiH2607 the seer cameH935 to AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and saidH559 unto him, Because thou hast relied on the kingH4428 of Syria, and hast not relied on Jehovah thy GodH430, thereforeH3651 is the host of the kingH4428 of Syria escapedH4422 out of thy handH3027. 8WereH1961 not the Ethiopians and the Lubim a huge host, with chariotsH7393 and horsemenH6571 exceeding many? yet, because thou didst rely on Jehovah, he delivered them into thy handH3027. 9For the eyesH5869 of Jehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earthH776, to showH2388 himself strongH2388 in the behalf of them whose heartH3824 is perfectH8003 toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishlyH5528; for from henceforth thou shalt have warsH4421.
