Deuteronomy 14:3-20
3Thou shalt not eatH398 any abominable thingH8441. 4These are the beasts which ye may eatH398: the oxH7794, the sheepH7716, and the goatH5795, 5the hart, and the gazelle, and the roebuck, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the antelopeH8377, and the chamois. 6And every beast that parteth the hoofH6541, and hath the hoofH6541 cloven in twoH8147, and cheweth the cudH1625, among the beasts, that may ye eatH398. 7NeverthelessH389 these ye shall not eatH398 of them that chew the cudH1625, or of them that have the hoofH6541 cloven: the camelH1581, and the hareH768, and the coney; because they chew the cudH1625 but part not the hoofH6541, they are uncleanH2931 unto you. 8And the swine, because he parteth the hoofH6541 but cheweth not the cudH1625, he is uncleanH2931 unto you: of their fleshH1320 ye shall not eatH398, and their carcassesH5038 ye shall not touchH5060.
9These ye may eatH398 of all that are in the watersH4325: whatsoever hath finsH5579 and scalesH7193 may ye eatH398; 10and whatsoever hath not finsH5579 and scalesH7193 ye shall not eatH398; it is uncleanH2931 unto you.
11Of all cleanH2889 birdsH6833 ye may eatH398. 12But these are they of which ye shall not eatH398: the eagleH5404, and the gier-eagle, and the ospray, 13and the glede, and the falcon, and the kite after its kindH4327, 14and every ravenH6158 after its kindH4327, 15and the ostrichH3284, and the night-hawk, and the sea-mew, and the hawk after its kindH4327, 16the little owlH3244, and the greatH3244 owlH3244, and the horned owlH3244, 17and the pelican, and the vultureH7360, and the cormorantH7994, 18and the storkH2624, and the heronH601 after its kindH4327, and the hoopoeH1744, and the batH5847. 19And all wingedH5775 creeping things are uncleanH2931 unto you: they shall not be eatenH398. 20Of all cleanH2889 birdsH5775 ye may eatH398.
