Deuteronomy 10

1At that timeH6256 Jehovah saidH559 unto me, Hew thee twoH8147 tables of stoneH68 like unto the firstH7223, and comeH5927 up unto me into the mount, and makeH6213 thee an arkH727 of woodH6086. 2And I will writeH3789 on the tables the wordsH1697 that were on the firstH7223 tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt putH7760 them in the arkH727. 3So I madeH6213 an arkH727 of acaciaH7848 woodH6086, and hewed twoH8147 tables of stoneH68 like unto the firstH7223, and wentH5927 up into the mount, having the twoH8147 tables in my handH3027. 4And he wroteH3789 on the tables, according to the firstH7223 writingH4385, the tenH6235 commandments, which Jehovah spake unto you in the mount out of the midstH8432 of the fireH784 in the dayH3117 of the assemblyH6951: and Jehovah gaveH5414 them unto me. 5And I turnedH6437 and came downH3381 from the mount, and putH7760 the tables in the arkH727 which I had madeH6213; and there they are as Jehovah commandedH6680 me. 6(And the children of IsraelH3478 journeyed from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah. There AaronH175 diedH4191, and there he was buriedH6912; and EleazarH499 his sonH1121 ministered in the priest’s office in his stead. 7From thence they journeyed unto GudgodahH1412; and from GudgodahH1412 to JotbathahH3193, a landH776 of brooks of waterH4325. 8At that timeH6256 Jehovah setH5975 apartH914 the tribeH7626 of LeviH3878, to bearH5375 the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of Jehovah, to standH5975 before Jehovah to minister unto him, and to blessH1288 in his nameH8034, unto this dayH3117. 9Wherefore LeviH3881 hath no portionH2506 nor inheritanceH5159 with his brethren; Jehovah is his inheritanceH5159, according as Jehovah thy GodH430 spake unto him.) 10And I stayed in the mount, as at the firstH7223 time, fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915: and Jehovah hearkened unto me that time alsoH1571; Jehovah wouldH14 not destroyH7843 thee. 11And Jehovah saidH559 unto me, AriseH6965, takeH3423 thy journey before the peopleH5971; and they shall goH935 in and possessH3423 the landH776, which I sware unto their fathersH1 to giveH5414 unto them.

12And nowH6258, IsraelH3478, what doth Jehovah thy GodH430 require of thee, but to fearH3372 Jehovah thy GodH430, to walk in all his waysH1870, and to loveH157 him, and to serveH5647 Jehovah thy GodH430 with all thy heartH3824 and with all thy soulH5315, 13to keepH8104 the commandmentsH4687 of Jehovah, and his statutesH2708, which I commandH6680 thee this dayH3117 for thy goodH2896? 14Behold, unto Jehovah thy GodH430 belongeth heavenH8064 and the heavenH8064 of heavensH8064, the earthH776, with all that is therein. 15OnlyH7535 Jehovah had a delight in thy fathersH1 to loveH157 them, and he choseH977 their seedH2233 after them, even you above all peoplesH5971, as at this dayH3117. 16CircumciseH4135 therefore the foreskinH6190 of your heartH3824, and be no more stiffnecked. 17For Jehovah your GodH430, he is GodH430 of godsH430, and Lord of lordsH136, the greatH1419 GodH430, the mightyH1368, and the terrible, who regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward. 18He doth execute justiceH4941 for the fatherlessH3490 and widowH490, and loveth the sojournerH1616, in givingH5414 him foodH3899 and raiment. 19LoveH157 ye therefore the sojournerH1616; for ye wereH1961 sojournersH1616 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 20Thou shalt fearH3372 Jehovah thy GodH430; him shalt thou serveH5647; and to him shalt thou cleave, and by his nameH8034 shalt thou swearH7650. 21He is thy praiseH8416, and he is thy GodH430, that hath done for thee these greatH1419 and terrible thingsH428, which thine eyesH5869 have seenH7200. 22Thy fathersH1 wentH3381 downH3381 into EgyptH4714 with threescore and ten personsH5315; and nowH6258 Jehovah thy GodH430 hath madeH7760 thee as the starsH3556 of heavenH8064 for multitudeH7230.
