Deuteronomy 34
1And MosesH4872 wentH5927 up from the plainsH6160 of MoabH4124 unto mount NeboH5015, to the topH7218 of PisgahH6449, that is over against JerichoH3405. And Jehovah showedH7200 him all the landH776 of GileadH1568, unto DanH1835, 2and all NaphtaliH5321, and the landH776 of EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519, and all the landH776 of JudahH3063, unto the hinder seaH3220, 3and the SouthH5045, and the PlainH1237 of the valleyH1237 of JerichoH3405 the cityH5892 of palm-trees, unto ZoarH6820. 4And Jehovah saidH559 unto him, This is the landH776 which I sware unto AbrahamH85, unto IsaacH3327, and unto JacobH3290, sayingH559, I will giveH5414 it unto thy seedH2233: I have caused thee to seeH7200 it with thine eyesH5869, but thou shalt not go over thither. 5So MosesH4872 the servantH5650 of Jehovah diedH4191 there in the landH776 of MoabH4124, according to the word of Jehovah. 6And he buriedH6912 him in the valleyH1516 in the landH776 of MoabH4124 over against Beth-peorH1047: but no manH376 knoweth of his sepulchre unto this dayH3117. 7And MosesH4872 was a hundredH3967 and twentyH6242 yearsH8141 old when he died: his eyeH5869 was not dim, nor his natural force abated. 8And the children of IsraelH3478 weptH1058 for MosesH4872 in the plainsH6160 of MoabH4124 thirtyH7970 daysH3117: so the daysH3117 of weepingH1065 in the mourningH60 for MosesH4872 were endedH8552.
9And JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126 was fullH4392 of the spiritH7307 of wisdomH2451; for MosesH4872 had laidH5564 his handsH3027 upon him: and the children of IsraelH3478 hearkened unto him, and did as Jehovah commandedH6680 MosesH4872. 10And there hath not arisenH6965 a prophetH5030 since in IsraelH3478 like unto MosesH4872, whom Jehovah knewH3045 faceH6440 to faceH6440, 11in all the signsH226 and the wondersH4159, which Jehovah sentH7971 him to do in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, to PharaohH6547, and to all his servantsH5650, and to all his landH776, 12and in all the mightyH2389 handH3027, and in all the greatH1419 terrorH4172, which MosesH4872 wrought in the sight of all IsraelH3478.
