Mark 10:1-16
11SettingG450 outG450 fromG1564 thereG1564, Jesus wentG2064 to the regionG3725 of JudeaG2449 and beyondG4008 the JordanG2446; crowdsG3793 gatheredG4848 to Him againG3825, and, 2as He was accustomedG1486, He onceG3825 moreG3825 began to teachG1321 them.
2And some PhariseesG5330 cameG4334 upG4334 to Jesus, testingG3985 Him, and began questioningG1905 Him whetherG1487 it was lawfulG1832 for a manG435 to 3divorceG630 his wifeG1135. 3And He answeredG611 and saidG3004 to them, “WhatG5101 did MosesG3475 commandG1781 you?” 4They saidG3004, “4MosesG3475 permittedG2010 a man to writeG1125 a 5certificateG975 of divorceG647 and 6sendG630 his wife awayG630.” 5But JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, “78BecauseG4314 of your hardnessG4641 ofG4641 heartG4641 he wroteG1125 you thisG3778 commandmentG1785. 6But 9from the beginningG746 of creationG2937, God 10createdG4160 them maleG733 and femaleG2338. 711For thisG3778 reasonG1752 a manG444 shall leaveG2641 his fatherG3962 and motherG338412, 813and the twoG1417 shall becomeG1510G1519 oneG1520 fleshG4561; soG5620 they are noG3765 longerG3765 twoG1417, but oneG1520 fleshG4561. 9ThereforeG3767, whatG3739 GodG2316 has joinedG4801 togetherG4801, noG3361 personG444 is to separateG5563.”
10And in the houseG3614 the disciplesG3101 againG3825 began questioningG1905 Him aboutG4012 thisG3778. 11And He saidG3004 to them, “14WhoeverG3739G302 15divorcesG630 his wifeG1135 and marriesG1060 anotherG243 womanG243 commitsG3429 adulteryG3429 againstG1909 her; 12and 16ifG1437 she herselfG846 17divorcesG630 her husbandG435 and marriesG1060 anotherG243 manG243, she is committingG3431 adulteryG3429.”
1318And they were bringingG4374 childrenG3813 to Him soG2443 thatG2443 He would touchG681 them; but the disciplesG3101 rebukedG2008 them. 14But when JesusG2424 sawG3708 this, He was indignantG23 and saidG3004 to them, “AllowG863 the childrenG3813 to comeG2064 to Me; do not 19forbidG2967 them, 20for the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 belongsG1510 to suchG5108 asG5108 theseG5108. 15TrulyG281 I sayG3004 to you, 21whoeverG3739G302 does not receiveG1209 the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 likeG5613 a childG3813 will not enterG1525 it atG3361 allG3361.” 16And He 22tookG1723 them inG1723 His armsG1723 and began blessingG2721 them, layingG5087 His handsG5495 on them.
