But by their wrongdoingπαραπτώματιparaptōmatiG3900salvationσωτηρίαsōtēriaG4991has cometo the GentilesἔθνεσινethnesinG1484, tomakeG3863them jealousG3863.

17But ifεἰeiG1487someτινεςtinesG5100of thebranchesκλάδωνkladōnG2798were brokenG1575offG1575, andyou, beingὢνōnG1510a wildἀγριέλαιοςagrielaiosG65oliveG65,were graftedἐνεκεντρίσθηςenekentristhēsG1461inG1461amongἐνenG1722them and becameἐγένου,egenouG1096partakerσυγκοινωνὸςsugkoinōnosG4791with them of therichπιότητοςpiotētosG4096rootῥίζηςrhizēsG4491of the oliveἐλαίαςelaiasG1636treeG1636,

18do not be arrogantG2620towardG2620the branchesκλάδων·kladōnG2798;but ifεἰeiG1487you are arrogantG2620, remember thatit is not you who supportsβαστάζειςbastazeisG941the rootῥίζανrhizanG4491,but the rootῥίζαrhizaG4491supports you.

19You will sayG3004thenοὖν·ounG3767, “BranchesκλάδοιkladoiG2798were brokenG1575offG1575soG2443thatG2443I might be graftedἐγκεντρισθῶ.egkentristhōG1461inG1461.”

20QuiteG2573rightG2573,they were brokenG1575offG1575for their unbeliefἀπιστίᾳapistiaG570, but youstandἕστηκας.hestēkasG2476by your faithπίστειpisteiG4102.Do not beG5426conceitedὑψηλὰhupsēlaG5426 G5308,but fearφοβοῦ·phobouG5399;

23And they alsoG2548,ifἐὰνeanG1437they do not continueἐπιμένωσινepimenōsinG1961in their unbeliefἀπιστίᾳ,apistiaG570,will be graftedG1461inG1461;for GodθεὸςtheosG2316is ableδυνατὸςdunatosG1415to graftG1461them inG1461againπάλινpalinG3825.
