18Butthe things that proceedἐκπορευόμεναekporeuomenaG1607out of the mouthστόματοςstomatosG4750comeἐξέρχεται,exerchetaiG1831from the heartκαρδίαςkardiasG2588,and thoseG2548defileκοινοῖkoinoiG2840the manἄνθρωπον.anthrōponG444.

20TheseταῦτάtautaG3778are the things which defileκοινοῦνταkoinountaG2840the manἄνθρωπον·anthrōponG444;but to eatG2068with unwashedἀνίπτοιςaniptoisG449handsχερσὶνchersinG5495does not defileκοινοῖkoinoiG2840the manἄνθρωπον.¶anthrōponG444.”
21JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424wentG1831awayG1831from thereἐκεῖθενekeithenG1564,and withdrewἀνεχώρησενanechōrēsenG402into the districtμέρηmerēG3313ofTyreΤύρουTurouG5184andSidonΣιδῶνος.SidōnosG4605.
22And a CanaaniteΧαναναίαChananaiaG5478womanγυνὴgunēG1135from that regionὁρίωνhoriōnG3725cameἐξελθοῦσαexelthousaG1831out and beganto cryἔκραζενekrazenG2896out, sayingλέγουσα·legousaG3004, “HaveG1653mercyἐλέησόνeleēsonG1653on me, LordκύριεkurieG2962,SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of DavidG1160;my daughterθυγάτηρthugatērG2364is cruellyκακῶςkakōsG2560demon-possessedδαιμονίζεται.¶daimonizetaiG1139.”
23But He did not answerἀπεκρίθηapekrithēG611her a wordλόγον.logonG3056.And His disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101cameπροσελθόντεςproselthontesG4334and imploredἠρώτουνērōtounG2065Him, sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “SendG630her awayG630,becauseὅτιhotiG3754she keeps shoutingκράζειkrazeiG2896at us.”
24But He answeredἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and saidG3004,“I was sentἀπεστάληνapestalēnG649onlyοὐκ εἰ μὴouk ei mēG3756G1487G3361tothe lostἀπολωλόταapolōlotaG622sheepπρόβαταprobataG4263of the houseοἴκουoikouG3624of IsraelἸσραήλ.¶IsraēlG2474.”
25But she cameἐλθοῦσαelthousaG2064and beganto bowG4352downG4352beforeG4352Him, sayingλέγουσα·legousaG3004, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,helpβοήθειboētheiG997me!”
26And He answeredἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and saidG3004, “It is notgoodκαλὸνkalonG2570to takeλαβεῖνlabeinG2983the children’sτέκνωνteknōnG5043breadἄρτονartonG740and throwβαλεῖνbaleinG906it to the dogsκυναρίοις.¶kunarioisG2952.”
27But she saidG3004, “YesναὶnaiG3483,Lordκύριε·kurieG2962;but evenκαὶkaiG2532the dogsκυνάριαkunariaG2952feedἐσθίειesthieiG2068on the crumbsψιχίωνpsichiōnG5589which fallπιπτόντωνpiptontōnG4098from their masters’κυρίωνkuriōnG2962tableτραπέζηςtrapezēsG5132.”
28ThenΤότεToteG5119JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424saidG3004to her,“OὦōG5599womanγύναι,gunaiG1135,your faithπίστις·pistisG4102is greatμεγάληmegalēG3173;it shall be doneγενηθήτωgenēthētōG1096for you as you wishθέλεις.theleisG2309.”And her daughterθυγάτηρthugatērG2364was healedἰάθηiathēG2390at onceὥρας ἐκείνης.¶hōras ekeinēsG1565G5610.
29DepartingμεταβὰςmetabasG3327from thereἐκεῖθενekeithenG1564,JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424wentἦλθενēlthenG2064alongπαρὰparaG3844bythe SeaθάλασσανthalassanG2281of GalileeΓαλιλαίας,GalilaiasG1056,and having goneἀναβὰςanabasG305up on the mountainὄροςorosG3735,He was sittingἐκάθητοekathētoG2521thereἐκεῖ.ekeiG1563.
30AndlargeπολλοὶpolloiG4183crowdsὄχλοιochloiG3793cameπροσῆλθονprosēlthonG4334to Him, bringingἔχοντεςechontesG2192with them those who werelameχωλούς,chōlousG5560,crippledκυλλούς,kullousG2948,blindτυφλούς,tuphlousG5185,muteκωφούς,kōphousG2974,and manyπολλοὺςpollousG4183othersἑτέρουςheterousG2087,and they laidG4496them downG4496at His feetπόδαςpodasG4228; andHe healedἐθεράπευσενetherapeusenG2323them.
31SoὥστεhōsteG5620the crowdὄχλονochlonG3793marveledθαυμάσαιthaumasaiG2296as they sawβλέπονταςblepontasG991the muteκωφοὺςkōphousG2974speakingλαλοῦντας,lalountasG2980,the crippledκυλλοὺςkullousG2948restoredὑγιεῖς,hugieisG5199,and the lameχωλοὺςchōlousG5560walkingπεριπατοῦντας,peripatountasG4043,and the blindτυφλοὺςtuphlousG5185seeingβλέποντας.blepontasG991; and theyglorifiedἐδόξασανedoxasanG1392the GodθεὸνtheonG2316of IsraelἸσραήλ.¶IsraēlG2474.
32And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424calledπροσκαλεσάμενοςproskalesamenosG4341His disciplesμαθητὰςmathētasG3101to Him, and saidG3004, “I feelG4697compassionσπλαγχνίζομαιsplagchnizomaiG4697for thepeopleὄχλονochlonG3793,becauseὅτιhotiG3754theyhave remainedπροσμένουσίνprosmenousinG4357with Me nowἤδηēdēG2235threeτρεῖςtreisG5140daysἡμέραιhēmeraiG2250and haveἔχουσινechousinG2192nothingG3756G5100to eatG2068;and I do not wantθέλωthelōG2309to sendἀπολῦσαιapolusaiG630them awayG630hungryνήστειςnēsteisG3523,for they might faintἐκλυθῶσινekluthōsinG1590on the wayὁδῷ.hodōG3598.”
33The disciplesμαθηταίmathētaiG3101saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004to Him, “WhereπόθενpothenG4159would we get soG5118manyG5118loavesἄρτοιartoiG740in thisdesolateG2047placeἐρημίᾳerēmiaG2047to satisfyχορτάσαιchortasaiG5526suchG5118a largeG4183crowdὄχλονochlonG3793?”
34And JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them,“HowπόσουςposousG4214manyG4214loavesἄρτουςartousG740do you haveἔχετε;echeteG2192?”And they saidG3004, “SevenἑπτὰheptaG2033,and a fewὀλίγαoligaG3641smallἰχθύδια.ichthudiaG2485fishG2485.”
35And He directedπαραγγείλαςparangeilasG3853thepeopleὄχλῳochlōG3793tositG377downG377on the groundγῆνgēnG1093;
36and He tookἔλαβενelabenG2983the sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033loavesἄρτουςartousG740and the fishἰχθύας,ichthuasG2486; andgivingG2168thanksεὐχαριστήσαςeucharistēsasG2168,He brokeἔκλασενeklasenG2806them and started givingἐδίδουedidouG1325them to the disciplesμαθηταῖςmathētaisG3101,and the disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101gave themto the peopleὄχλοις.ochloisG3793.
37And they allπάντεςpantesG3956ateG2068and were satisfiedἐχορτάσθησαν,echortasthēsanG5526,and they pickedἦραν,ēranG142up whatG3588was leftG4052overG4052of the brokenG2801piecesG2801,sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033largeG4711basketsσπυρίδαςspuridasG4711fullπλήρεις.plēreisG4134.
38And thoseοἱhoiG3588who ateἐσθίοντεςesthiontesG2068were fourG5070thousandτετρακισχίλιοιtetrakischilioiG5070menἄνδρεςandresG435,besidesχωρὶςchōrisG5565womenγυναικῶνgunaikōnG1135and childrenπαιδίων.¶paidiōnG3813.
39And sendingG630awayG630the crowdsὄχλουςochlousG3793,Jesus gotἐνέβηenebēG1684intothe boatπλοῖονploionG4143and cameἦλθενēlthenG2064to the regionὅριαhoriaG3725ofMagadanΜαγαδάν.MagadanG3093.
