24and let us considerκατανοῶμενkatanoōmenG2657howto stimulateπαροξυσμὸνparoxusmonG3948oneἀλλήλουςallēlousG240anotherG240to loveἀγάπηςagapēsG26andgoodκαλῶνkalōnG2570deedsἔργωνergōnG2041,

32But rememberἈναμιμνῄσκεσθεAnamimnēskestheG363the formerG4387daysἡμέρας,hēmerasG2250,whenἐν αἷςen haisG1722 G3739, after beingenlightenedφωτισθέντεςphōtisthentesG5461,you enduredὑπεμείνατεhupemeinateG5278a greatπολλὴνpollēnG4183conflictἄθλησινathlēsinG119of sufferingsπαθημάτων,pathēmatōnG3804,

33partlyμὲνmenG3778 G3303by beingmadeG2301a publicG2301spectacleG2301through reproachesὀνειδισμοῖςoneidismoisG3680and tribulationsθλίψεσινthlipsesinG2347,and partlyδὲdeG1161by becomingγενηθέντες·genēthentesG1096sharersκοινωνοὶkoinōnoiG2844with thoseτῶνtōnG3588who were soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779treatedἀναστρεφομένωνanastrephomenōnG390.

34For youshowedG4834sympathyG4834to the prisonersδεσμίοιςdesmioisG1198and acceptedπροσεδέξασθεprosedexastheG4327joyfullyχαρᾶςcharasG5479the seizureἁρπαγὴνharpagēnG724of your propertyὑπαρχόντωνhuparchontōnG5225,knowingγινώσκοντεςginōskontesG1097that you haveἔχεινecheinG2192for yourselvesἑαυτοὺςhe'autousG1438a betterG2909possessionὕπαρξινhuparxinG5223and a lastingμένουσαν.menousanG3306one.

35ThereforeοὖνounG3767,do not throwG577awayἀποβάλητεapobalēteG577yourconfidenceπαρρησίανparrēsianG3954,whichἥτιςhētisG3748hasἔχειecheiG2192a greatμεγάληνmegalēnG3173rewardμισθαποδοσίαν.misthapodosianG3405.

36For you haveἔχετεecheteG2192needχρείαν,chreianG5532ofenduranceὑπομονῆςhupomonēsG5281,soἵναinaG2443that when you havedoneποιήσαντεςpoiēsantesG4160the willθέλημαthelēmaG2307of GodθεοῦtheouG2316, you mayreceiveκομίσησθεkomisēstheG2865whatG1860was promisedἐπαγγελίαν.epangelianG1860.

37For yetἔτιetiG2089in a veryὅσονhosonG3745littleμικρὸνmikronG3398whileὅσον,hosonG3745,He who is comingἐρχόμενοςerchomenosG2064will comeἥξειhēxeiG2240,and will not delayχρονίσει.chroniseiG5549.

38But My righteousδίκαιόςdikaiosG1342oneG1342shall liveζήσεται·zēsetaiG2198by faithπίστεωςpisteōsG4102;And ifἐὰνeanG1437he shrinksὑποστείληται,huposteilētaiG5288backG5288,My soulψυχήpsuchēG5590hasG2106noοὐκoukG3756pleasureεὐδοκεῖeudokeiG2106in him.

39Butwe are not of those who shrinkG5289backG5289to destructionἀπώλειανapōleianG684,but of those who have faithπίστεωςpisteōsG4102to thepreservingπεριποίησινperipoiēsinG4047of the soulψυχῆς.¶psuchēsG5590.
