Romans 9:10-24

10And not onlyG3440 [that], but Rebecca having conceived by oneG1520, IsaacG2464 our fatherG3962,

11[the children] indeed being not yetG235 bornG1080, or having done anythingG5100 goodG18 or worthless (that the purposeG4286 of 1GodG2316 accordingG2596 to electionG1589 might abideG3306, not of worksG2041, but of him that callsG2564),

12it was said to her, The greaterG3173 shall serveG1398 the less:

13according as it is writtenG1125, I have lovedG25 JacobG2384, and I have hatedG3404 EsauG2269.

14What shall we sayG3004 thenG3767? [Is there] unrighteousnessG93 with 2GodG2316? Far be the thought.

15For he saysG3004 to MosesG3475, I will shew mercyG1653 to whom I will shew mercyG1653, and I will feel compassionG3627 for whom I will feel compassionG3627.

16So thenG3767 [it is] not of him that willsG2309, nor of him that runsG5143, but of 3GodG2316 that shews mercyG1653.

17For the scriptureG1124 saysG3004 to PharaohG5328, For this very thingG3778 I have raised thee up from amongst [men], that I might thus shew in thee my powerG1411, and so that my nameG3686 should be declared in all the earthG1093.

18So thenG3767, to whom he will he shews mercyG1653, and whom he will he hardensG4645.

19Thou wilt sayG3004 to me thenG3767, WhyG5101 does he yetG2089 find faultG3201? for who resistsG436 his purpose?

20Aye, but thou, O manG444, who art thou that answerest again to 4GodG2316? Shall the thing formed sayG3004 to him that has formed it, WhyG5101 hast thou madeG4160 me thusG3779?

21Or has not the potterG2763 authorityG1849 over the clayG4081, out of the sameG846 lumpG5445 to makeG4160 oneG3739 vesselG4632 to honour, and another to dishonour?

22And if 5GodG2316, minded to shew his wrathG3709 and to makeG1107 his powerG1415 known, endured with muchG4183 long-suffering vesselsG4632 of wrathG3709 fitted for destructionG684;

23and that he might makeG1107 known the richesG4149 of his gloryG1391 upon vesselsG4632 of mercyG1656, which he had before prepared for gloryG1391,

24us, whom he has alsoG2532 calledG2564, not onlyG3440 from amongst [the] JewsG2453, but alsoG2532 from amongst [the] nationsG1484?
