Psalms 94

1O 1GodH410 of vengeances, Jehovah, 2GodH410 of vengeances, shineH3313 forthH3313;2LiftH5375 up thyself, thou judgeH8199 of the earthH776, render the reward to the proudH1343.3How long shall the wickedH7563, O Jehovah, how long shall the wickedH7563 triumph?4[How long] shall they utter [and] speakH1696 insolence — all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?5They crushH1792 thy peopleH5971, O Jehovah, and afflictH6031 thine inheritanceH5159;6They slayH2026 the widowH490 and the stranger, and murderH7523 the fatherlessH3490,7And sayH559, Jah will not seeH7200, neither will the 3GodH430 of JacobH3290 regard [it].8UnderstandH995, ye brutish among the peopleH5971; and ye foolsH3684, whenH4970 will ye be wiseH7919?9He that plantedH5193 the earH241, shall he not hearH8085? He that formedH3335 the eyeH5869, shall he not see?10He that instructeth the nationsH1471, shall not he correct — he that teacheth manH120 knowledgeH1847?11Jehovah knoweth the thoughtsH4284 of manH120, that they are vanityH1892.12Blessed is the manH1397 whom thou chastenest, O Jah, and whom thou teachest out of thy lawH8451;13That thou mayest give him rest from the daysH3117 of evilH7451, until the pitH7845 be digged for the wickedH7563.14For Jehovah will not cast off his peopleH5971, neither will he forsake his inheritanceH5159;15For judgmentH4941 shall returnH7725 unto righteousnessH6664, and all the uprightH3477 in heartH3820 shall follow it.16Who will riseH6965 up for me against the evil-doers? who will standH6965 for me against the workers of iniquity?17If Jehovah had not been my helpH5833, my soulH5315 had almost dweltH7931 in silenceH1745.18When I saidH559, My footH7272 slippeth, thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, held me up.19In the multitudeH7230 of my anxious thoughtsH8312 within me thy comforts have delighted my soulH5315.20Shall the throneH3678 of wickedness be united to thee, which frameth mischiefH5999 into a law?21They band together against the soulH5315 of the righteousH6662, and condemnH7561 innocentH5355 bloodH1818.22But Jehovah will beH1961 my high tower; and my 4GodH430 the rockH6697 of my refugeH4268.23And he will bringH7725 upon them their iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evilH7451: Jehovah our 5GodH430 will cut them off.
