Psalms 28
[A Psalm] of David.
1Unto thee, Jehovah, do I callH7121; my rockH6697, be not silentH2814 unto me, lestH6435, [if] thou keep silence toward me, I become like them that goH3381 down into the pitH953.2HearH8085 the voiceH6963 of my supplicationsH8469, when I cryH7768 unto thee, when I liftH5375 up my handsH3027 toward the oracle of thy holinessH6944.3DrawH4900 me not away with the wickedH7563, and with the workers of iniquity, who speakH1696 peaceH7965 to their neighbours, and mischief is in their heartH3824.4GiveH5414 them according to their doing, and according to the wickednessH7455 of their deedsH4611; giveH5414 them after the workH4639 of their handsH3027, render to them their desert.5For they regard not the deedsH4639 of Jehovah, nor the workH4639 of his handsH3027: he will destroy them, and not buildH1129 them up.6BlessedH1288 be Jehovah, for he hath heardH8085 the voiceH6963 of my supplicationsH8469.7Jehovah is my strengthH5797 and my shieldH4043; my heartH3820 confided in him, and I was helpedH5826: therefore my heartH3820 exulteth, and with my songH7892 will I praiseH3034 him.8Jehovah is their strengthH5797; and he is the strongholdH4581 of salvationH3444 to his anointedH4899 one.9SaveH3467 thy peopleH5971, and blessH1288 thine inheritanceH5159; and feedH7462 them, and liftH5375 them up for everH5769.
