Psalm 14
Darby Bible
To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.
1The foolH5036 hath saidH559 in his heartH3820, There is no 1GodH430. They have corruptedH7843 themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth goodH2896.2Jehovah lookedH7200 downH8259 from the heavensH8064 upon the children of menH120, to seeH7200 if there were any that did understand, that did seekH1875 2GodH430.3They have all gone asideH5493, they are togetherH3162 become corruptH444: there is none that doeth goodH2896, not even oneH259.4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eatingH398 up my peopleH5971 [as] they eatH398 breadH3899? They callH7121 not upon Jehovah.5There were they in great fearH6343; for 3GodH430 is in the generationH1755 of the righteousH6662.6Ye have shamed the counselH6098 of the afflictedH6041, because Jehovah [was] his refugeH4268.7Oh that the salvationH3444 of IsraelH3478 were come out of ZionH6726! When Jehovah turneth again the captivityH7622 of his peopleH5971, JacobH3290 shall be gladH8055, IsraelH3478 shall rejoiceH8055.
