Psalms 90
A Prayer of Moses, the man of90.0 ElohimGod.
1LordH136, thou hast beenH1961 our dwelling-place in all generationsH1755.2Before the mountainsH2022 were broughtH3205 forthH3205, and thou hadst formed the earthH776 and the worldH8398, even from eternity to eternity thou art 1GodH410.3Thou makest [mortal] manH120 to returnH7725 to dust, and sayest, ReturnH7725, children of menH120.4For a thousandH505 yearsH8141, in thy sight, are as yesterday when it is past, and [as] a watchH821 in the nightH3915.5Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they areH1961 [as] a sleepH8142: in the morningH1242 they areH1961 like grassH2682 [that] groweth up:6In the morningH1242 it flourisheth and groweth up; in the eveningH6153 it is cut down and withereth.7For we are consumed by thine angerH639, and by thy fury are we troubled.8Thou hast setH7896 our iniquitiesH5771 before thee, our secret [sins] in the lightH3974 of thy countenance.9For all our daysH3117 pass awayH6437 in thy wrathH5678: we spend our yearsH8141 as a [passing] thought.10The daysH3117 of our yearsH8141 are threescore yearsH8141 and ten; and if, by reason of strengthH1369, they be fourscore yearsH8141, yet their pride is labour and vanity, for it is soon cut off, and we flyH5774 away.11Who knoweth the power of thine angerH639? and thy wrathH5678 according to the fearH3374 of thee?12SoH3651 teach [us] to numberH4487 our daysH3117, that we may acquire a wise heartH3824.13ReturnH7725, Jehovah: how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servantsH5650.14SatisfyH7646 us early with thy loving-kindness; that we may singH7442 for joyH7442 and be gladH8055 all our daysH3117.15MakeH8055 us gladH8055 according to the daysH3117 [wherein] thou hast afflicted us, according to the yearsH8141 [wherein] we have seenH7200 evilH7451.16Let thy workH6467 appearH7200 unto thy servantsH5650, and thy majestyH1926 unto their sonsH1121.17And let the beauty of Jehovah our 2GodH430 beH1961 upon us; and establishH3559 thou the workH4639 of our handsH3027 upon us: yea, the workH4639 of our handsH3027, establishH3559 thou it.
