Psalms 141
A Psalm of David.
1Jehovah, I have calledH7121 upon thee: make haste unto me; giveH238 earH238 unto my voiceH6963, when I callH7121 unto thee.2Let my prayerH8605 be set forth before thee as incenseH7004, the lifting up of my handsH3709 as the eveningH6153 oblation.3SetH7896 a watchH5341, O Jehovah, before my mouthH6310; keepH5341 the doorH1817 of my lipsH8193.4InclineH5186 not my heartH3820 to any evilH7451 thingH1697, to practise deedsH5949 of wickednessH7562 with menH376 that are workers of iniquity; and let me not eatH3898 of their dainties.5Let the righteousH6662 smite me, it is kindness; and let him reproveH3198 me, it is an excellent oilH8081 which my headH7218 shall not refuse: for yetH5750 my prayerH8605 also is [for them] in their calamities.6When their judgesH8199 are thrown down from the rocksH5553, they shall hearH8085 my wordsH561, for they are sweet.7Our bonesH6106 are scatteredH6340 at the mouthH6310 of SheolH7585, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earthH776.8For unto thee, Jehovah, LordH136, are mine eyesH5869; in thee do I trust: leave not my soulH5315 destitute.9KeepH8104 me from the snareH4170 which they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity.10Let the wickedH7563 fallH5307 into their own nets, whilst that I withal passH5674 over.
