Deuteronomy 24:1-4
When a manH376 taketh a wifeH802, and marrieth her, it shall beH1961 if she findH4672 no favour in his eyesH5869, because he hath foundH4672 some unseemly thingH1697 in her, that he shall writeH3789 her a letterH5612 of divorce, and giveH5414 it into her handH3027, and sendH7971 her out of his houseH1004.
And she shall depart out of his houseH1004, and goH1980 away, and may becomeH1961 another man's wife.
And if the latterH314 husbandH376 hateH8130 her, and writeH3789 her a letterH5612 of divorce, and giveH5414 it into her handH3027, and sendH7971 her out of his houseH1004; or if the latterH314 husbandH376 dieH4191 who tookH3947 her as his wifeH802;
her firstH7223 husbandH1167, who sentH7971 her awayH7971, may not takeH3947 her again to beH1961 his wifeH802, after that she is defiledH2930; for it is an abominationH8441 before Jehovah; and thou shalt not cause the landH776 to sinH2398, which Jehovah thy 1GodH430 giveth thee for an inheritanceH5159.
