Deuteronomy 18:9-14
When thou art comeH935 into the landH776 which Jehovah thy 1GodH430 giveth thee, thou shalt not learnH3925 to do according to the abominationsH8441 of those nationsH1471.
There shall not be foundH4672 among you he that maketh his sonH1121 or his daughterH1323 to passH5674 through the fireH784, that useth divinationH7081, that useth auguries, or an enchanter, or a sorcererH3784,
or a charmer, or oneH2266 that inquireth of a spirit of Python, or a soothsayer, or oneH2266 that consulteth the deadH4191.
For every one that doeth these thingsH428 is an abominationH8441 to Jehovah, and because of these abominationsH8441 Jehovah thy 2GodH430 doth dispossessH3423 them from before thee.
Thou shalt beH1961 perfectH8549 with Jehovah thy 3GodH430.
For these nationsH1471, which thou shalt dispossessH3423, hearkened unto those that use auguries, and that use divination; but as for thee, Jehovah thy 4GodH430 hath not suffered thee [to do] soH3651.
