Darby Bible
Deuteronomy 15:12-18
12If thy brotherH251, a HebrewH5680 man, or a HebrewH5680 woman, have been soldH4376 unto thee, he shall serveH5647 thee sixH8337 yearsH8141, and in the seventhH7637 yearH8141 thou shalt let him goH7971 freeH2670 from thee.
13And when thou sendest him out freeH2670 from thee, thou shalt not let him goH7971 awayH7971 emptyH7387;
14thou shalt certainly furnish him from thy sheepH6629, and out of thy floorH1637, and out of thy winepressH3342: of what Jehovah thy 1GodH430 hath blessedH1288 thee with shalt thou giveH5414 unto him.
15And thou shalt rememberH2142 that thou wast a bondman in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and that Jehovah thy 2GodH430 redeemedH6299 thee; thereforeH3651 I commandH6680 thee this thingH1697 to-day.
16And it shall beH1961, if he sayH559 unto thee, I will not goH3318 away from thee, — because he loveth thee and thy houseH1004, because he is wellH2895 with thee, —
17then thou shalt takeH3947 an awlH4836, and thrust it through his earH241 and into the doorH1817; and he shall beH1961 thy bondman for everH5769. And alsoH637 unto thy handmaid thou shalt do likewise.
18Let it not seem hardH7185 unto thee, when thou sendest him awayH7971 freeH2670 from thee; for doubleH4932 the worth of a hired servant hath he been to thee, [in] servingH5647 thee sixH8337 yearsH8141; and Jehovah thy 3GodH430 will blessH1288 thee in all that thou doest.
