Chronicles 8:7-11
All the peopleH5971 that were leftH3498 of the HittitesH2850, and the AmoritesH567, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of IsraelH3478,
their children that were leftH3498 after them in the landH776, whom the children of IsraelH3478 had not destroyedH3615, upon them did SolomonH8010 impose tribute-service until this dayH3117.
But of the children of IsraelH3478, of them did SolomonH8010 makeH5414 no bondmen for his workH4399; but they were menH376 of warH4421, and chiefH8269 of his captains, and captains of his chariotsH7393 and his horsemenH6571.
And these were the chiefH8269 of kingH4428 Solomon's superintendents, twoH3967 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572, that ruled over the peopleH5971.
And SolomonH8010 broughtH935 up the daughterH1323 of PharaohH6547 out of the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 to the houseH1004 which he had builtH1129 for her; for he saidH559, My wifeH802 shall not dwellH3427 in the houseH1004 of DavidH1732 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, because the [places] are holyH6944 to which the arkH727 of Jehovah has comeH935.
